Earlier today, I revised an eBay Store listing through eBay by lowering the shipping charges from $8.50 to $5.50

That item did sell today! But there was a problem with the checkout. The Vendio checkout indicated that the shipping charge choices were either $8.50 or free (!) on this item.

Neither was correct.

To complicate matters more, the eBay checkout indicated that shipping was free - regardless of the statements several times on the listing that shipping is $5.50. My revision was correct, because it showed up at the top of the listing. The eBay chkout didn't even offer a choice to the customer!

This is very frustrating - what is going on. I've been a Vendio customer for years and eBay since 98. I've had numerous issues this past year. We have less and less control over what is happening and the FEES - everyone has their hands in our pockets. I'm tired of it - esp in instances such as this!!

I encourage Vendio to offer Sales Manager services for other newer popular auction sites - eBay has taken the fun out of the business. Too many rule now and they are way too greedy. I'm not happy to learn that Vendio may soon be following suite with repeated renewal charges for Store items.

Hello,

I see the cause for this error now. In your list of shipping carriers and costs you originally had two items listed:

1. USPS Priority Mail (Fixed) = $8.50
2. Insurance extra = $0.00

That blank shipping carrier field where you manually typed in 'Insurance extra' and left the cost set as $0.00 is why both Vendio and eBay reference one of the two available shipping options as being 'Free.'

It looks like you did correct the shipping cost properly at eBay, as eBay shows both available (with your revised amount for USPS) - but you would have needed to do two things to make this work properly in the checkout at Vendio and eBay.

1. Delete that 'Insurance extra' carrier with the cost set as $0.00, as both systems will just list this as being a free shipping service.

2. When you revise the shipping costs at eBay, you would need to revise that shipping cost at Vendio in order to get the Vendio checkout to display the proper shipping costs at checkout.
You can do that via the 'All Active' list in your Vendio account, select the item and click to 'set wbn' and then 'set wbn' where you can edit the originally offered shipping carriers/costs.

If you have any other active listings running right now with 'Insurance extra' listed as one of the carriers with $.00 as the cost, you will want to edit those as well so your buyers don't think you offer free shipping.

Regards,
Chris
