Hi all, I posted this in the Ebay forum but was directed over here, which is where I should have been in first place. I was sleepy when I posted last night. Anyway, here goes...
I had to file FVF fees on an auction then got a kinda testy email from the bidder and a payment through PayPal. After the "testy" email I decided I didn't care if they paid now or not, the item was no longer available.
So I tried to send the payment back to the bidder through PayPal and according to PayPal it was going "unclaimed" because they were not registered.
Finally I just "canceled" it, because I didn't know what else to do about it.
How could they send me a payment using the email addy they contacted me with and not be registered so I can send it back?
They have contacted me with more than one addy, the testy email came from a different one, but the one listed with PayPal is one that I tried to return the payment to. Which is the one I am supposed to use.
I am sorry if I have confused everyone here...but I confused myself and can't help it.
Anyone know what might be going on?
