All of you seem to be whining about your "miserable" experiences with PayPal. Check out the article in Newsweek that arrived today. PAyPal has an excellent fraud detection team and provides excellent service-prompt e-mail and toll free telephone that I have personally used- and they dont charge excessive fees. So, next time you cry about your account being frozen think if there was a reason. I'll bet you there was a reason.

Great words of wisdom from “amdandrew” who obviously has no idea of the problems that some users undoubtedly do experience – if life was so simple!!

My bank and credit card company decided to follow Paypal's example. My bank will no longer cash my checks or let me withdraw because it might lead to fraud. My credit card will no longer let me charge anything. I can't pay my mortgage or buy food and I'm living in a box out on the street, but hey, my money is safe.

The top 10 reasons...

#10- Gold bullion is expensive to mail.
#9- No more writer's cramp from filling out checks for my auction winnings.
#8- I've never had a problem, so obviously, nothing could ever go wrong.
#7- My mailman gives me nasty looks when he has to pick up mail from my mailbox.
#6- The "Pal" in "PayPal" sounds so friendly.
#5- I now have 8 different bank accounts (PayPal wouldn't accept the first 7 I tried to verify).
#4- What does the Better Business Bureau know, anyway?
#3- Stamps taste funny.
#2- The only customer support available is here so there's no need to remember another 800 number.
#1- Always free! (Well, not always, but what the heck...)

Hello Andrew:

Obviously you're not an engineer. The venders on the internet have to be able to process large amounts of orders for pennies if the consumer is going to benifit. Reliability has value! Paypal doesn't understand. A company which does 15+ orders per day can not tolerate mistakes by the escrows. Sure....Paypal can have a mechanism that unveils scam artist but if they shoot down 100 good businesses to find one fraud..... what good are they? It takes 20 to 40 orders per day to make one paycheck. An escrow which does not realize this should never be incorporated into a businesses shopping cart.....Dumb me I just spent alot of money on software to do just that but I'm cutting my losses and going w Visa and Mastercard instead.

.....nothing really complicated then!

Please do have concern for those that do have genuine problems with PayPal even if you don’t, and stop your miserable and uncaring whining.

Do have a good day - Dave
