I originally posted this topic at the Yahoo board, but am repeating it here for (hopefully) a wider audience:
Does anyone have experience with Yahoo's PayDirect money transfer service?
Their TOS (and an answer from a service rep.) both say that no chargebacks are ever allowed, but their merchant bank told me that if a chargeback occurs, the "Recipient" would get his account debited (ie the chargeback WOULD go through to the seller??). So there seems to be a total contradiction of terms/actions here.
Anyone have the misfortune to deal with PayDirect and the whole chargeback issue?
Also, if anyone recommends C2It or other credit card acceptance services, please include in this discussion thread your reasoning or other documentation for believing they're better at protecting sellers than Paypal. I'd love to drop PP, but I haven't found anyone with even their shaky level of seller support.
