Well friends it seams that when your just a little guy like us nobody listens. But when the big guy from Top of the Bay emailed "PayPonzi" and threatened an email campaign and court action they listened and ofcourse the amount of the settlement could not be disclosed. Now top of the bay is back kissing up to them.Damn i'm glad I have a set of principles to go by.
I make this challange to Top of the Bay. The little men and women like us are the reason your in business. Take care as to who you kiss up to. I for one will not recommend you anymore.------Stoney

James P Mattrazzo, Plaintiff TopOfTheBay.net is quoted as saying,
"I'm sure that many of you are not aware of the abuses that have been committed. Paypal has been able to gain an exclusionary status that exempts themselves from U.S. Banking regulations. Subsequently they have used this exempt status to conduct activities that would be deemed illegal if they were subjected to banking regulations. We feel that this was systematically perpetrated in order to subvert banking regulations and may also be a violation of federal RICO statutes."
"We will begin Monday, July 30th emailing millions of advisories soliciting co-plaintiffs and warning of the unethical and illegal activities being perpetrated by Paypal."
Also "We feel we should have more than sufficient evidence of the numerous accounts of illegal activities of paypal.com by September 3rd, 2001 at which time we will file a formal complaint with the U.S. Attorney's office on that date."
THen after PayPal contacts them he says
"I'm happy to announce that after extensive discussions with attorneys for Paypal, a settlement has been reached and we will continue to use Paypal as our merchant for TopOfTheBay.net and Cash Rewards."
AND
"Although we have agreed not to discuss the terms of the settlement, we are very please with the outcome"

Club1man, this is what I see when I look at the link you provided.
I had posted an email from Ca$h Reward$ Management about the trouble they had with PayPal. Since the problem has been resolved to both of their satisfaction, I've taken the email message down and am now promoting again this nifty program.

Yes,that's what you see now. The earlier post was taken down "because they reach a satisfactory agreement"(the amount could not be disclosed) but if you email Al or myself you can get a complete copy.I'm sure you would like PayPal to satisfy you and the others in this forum, but we are the little people to them and we don't have the clout. They tried the same thing with me but my principles were higher than they expected. I will not support a company just because they buy my silence.
