Hi Damon,

Could you PLEASE go back to notifying sellers that someone has sent an e-check payment the way you used to!!

The old way - the subject line was:

Notification for a Pending eCheck Payment
(have one dated 07/02/01 with this subject)

The new way - the subject line is:

Tammy Cox has just sent you $19.55 with PayPal (dated 07/25/01)

to which I just received the -
Notification for a Cleared eCheck Payment
this morning.

Yes, I suppose I should have read the ENTIRE
emails from Paypal, but since they used to always tell me it was an e-check in the subject I just marked my paperwork as such.

But with the new subject looking just like an actual payment that has been paid already I shipped them out and NOW find out that they are e-checks and I should have waited for clearance. I did get the accept/deny option but, again, it said So & So sent me money. I assumed that the accept/deny was for the usual unconfirmed address and accepted them.

Thanks, Debbie

Hi,

Do you have a copy of the email? We are checking some of our headers. Please forward it to me ([email protected]) if you still have it.
