Ok. Help me out here. If you sign up for PayPal and give them a credit card, will they then mail checks to a PO Box? I know they charge a fee for this but that's not a problem. I'm still trying to figure out a way to accept PayPal on my auctions and get my money out! My buyers are FORCING me into this because ALL my non-paying bidders are people who tried to pay with PayPal and then when I tell them I can't take it, they just walk away! I'm trying to avoid having to open another checking account at a regular bank (I bank at a credit union that doesn't allow the PayPal transfers) where I'll have to put up a large opening deposit and keep that in there all the time to avoid the $15.00 per month service charges from the bank.

Some banks have very low-minimum balance or free checking options... I think Wells Fargo's lowest is $100 minimum balance (don't quote me on that) - and I know one local bank that has totally free checking.

I did check out one local bank that advertised free checking with no minimum balance. Catch? Oh yes! You had to keep $5,000 in a savings account at their bank at all times! I really don't need to be investing $5,000 in my Ebay buyers. If I can't work it out to avoid bank fees to take PayPal they will just have to continue to be non-paying bidders!

I have an extra savings account at my bank just for Paypal payments. It doesn't cost me a dime and I have the payments in paypal transferred to it all the time. Takes about 3 days for it to be there. Haven't had a problem since I started it.

How did you get a savings account attached to your PayPal account? All the emails I have after signing up specifically require a checking account and do not even mention a savings account as an option.
