I have had an e-check in my account since the 9th of this month and it still has not cleared? Any reason why it takes so long?
The person is verified and she is also angry at this?

These delays generally have to do with the processing time from the institution the withdrawal was requested from. They generally clear within 2-5 business days, but delays of up to 10 have happened (yet are extremely rare--I am aware of 2).
The issue could be from their bank. Has the sender checked with their financial institution?
