Ok, I have been with PP for about a year and a half (plus or minus more plus than minus) and I received a notice stating that my credit card receiving limit has been met!

I did the math it is below the limit....

In the month of August I didn't meet the $100 monthly limit for my personal account.

Can you straighten this out?

I currently have "unclaimed" payment sitting in my account.
Whassup????

I believe PayPal figures a month based on the date you opened your account, not on the calendar month (unless you happened to open your account on the 1st).

MrPotatoHeadd

This is true.

Nevertheless, it is still below the $100 limit.

Thanx

Do you have a business account also? The reason I ask is there have been instances where someone unregisted an email address with their business account and registered it on their personal account. While that personal account may not have received credit card payment in excess of $100 the email address registered with the account had.

If you don't have a business account nevermind.

Yes I do have both but the example you describe does not pretain to my situation.

I discovered my "total" credit card receiving is even lower than I orginally calculated. I found one transaction which the money came from their PayPal funds not a credit card. My total is still not even near the $100 limit.

Thanx uaru

I am still waiting for help.

My total of credit credit card receiving in my "30 days" has not reached the limit of $100.

The balance says "zero" remaining for my credit card receiving but when I add up my actual credit card payments the total is below my limit. Even when I add the other payments the total is still below the limit.

I am posting this problem so that if anyone has similar problem then something is up. Maybe another attempt to persuade people to upgrade? No way dude.

Damon
I emailed an inquiry (2nd email) in why a July credit card receiving payment on my business account would go against my credit card receiving limit on my personal account when the time period for the limit is 30 days. The date is way before the 30 day period begin date. Right?

Yes I know about the email address from the business to the personal but the begin date is way after the last payment.

Please explain.

I received an email to clarify the "members of our technical team" are reviewing the situation.

I will be patient.

Nitrate, you might find the cause was moving email addresses between the business and personal account.

Yes I know about the email address from the business to the personal but the begin date is way after the last payment.

I know it isn't any of my business but why did you move email addresses between your personal and business accounts?

After being a PayPal customer for about year and a half, I am again satisfied with their services!

I will use PayPal with confidence!

Thanks Damon!

You're right, it is none of your business.

I too am having the SAME problem with a new account, NEVER used and I've already maxed my credit card limit??? How'd that happen? Now I have 3 payments sitting there unclaimed and all I get are notices from paypal that I should upgrade so this doesn't happen. UPGRADE??? Is this a way to MAKE you upgrade? This stinks. So far, no help from Paypal.

Hi overfence,

I am showing another account attached to the email alias of xxxx closed on the 23rd of August. You then re-opened an account with the same information. The transactions from this account are following to the new account (prevents gaming in our system). You had been receiving payments against the account until closure, which would explain your limits.
