I just looked at a transaction where somebody paid me for an auction. They paid me $76 and my fee was $1.97. That is 2.6%. I thought that when people paid with Pay Pal funds the fee would be lower. Why are they charging a fee anyhow they are just moving funds between 2 of their own accounts. My merchant account only charges me 1.9%. I may just get rid of Pay Pal.
Business/Premier accounts pay on all incoming payments. I might recommend going PayPal Preferred if you would like to effectively reduce the rates you are paying.

If you have a regular merchant account alread, I recommend using that instead of PayPal to accept credit cards.
