Damon,
We sent a bidder an invoice for $9.50, received notice of payment for $9.50. This was all on Wednesday. Friday night, received
notice of cancelation of payment. Our account
reads, invoice, payment, and canceled. Bidder
says his paypal account shows 2 payments. Thats why he canceled one, Really need help on this one.....Thanks, Ebay: Landotters

Tuesday 11-20 paypal notified me that an item was paid for, you know the old "you've got cash." I emailed and thanked the buyer for the payment and said I'd let them know when I shipped. Checked my paypal account and it was in the accept/deny mode because it was a credit card payment from an unconfirmed account. I have a personal account, no credit card should have been accepted, I should not have been informed that I had cash because it was not there and if I was in an upgraded account I still wouldn't have had the cash.
Had to deny payment and let the buyer know what was happening. All in all not a very good turn of events but at least I lost no money and the buyer didn't jump the gun and neg me.
Always confirm what paypal emails tell you, they are sometimes honesty challenged.
But, I may not be a payola booster,

Not a payola booster - an expression I'll never use again. Basically I'm no big fan of paypal.
Paypal will probably be on eBay long after I'm gone.
I'm sorry I posted in this thread, sure hope Damon swings by to answer the original posters question.

paypal has come up with its own version of checkout-once buyer exercise buy it now,a paypal button appears and by pressing that button,he/she will land in paypal la la land and plug in payment ,and seller gets paid.
when i go to the site,i can find way to invoke this option
