I have several pending charges that are 15 days old from a cancelled transaction. Does anyone know when Paypal releases the hold on the funds? I have searched their Help Faq's, and emailed with no response. Can anyone help me with this?

Got this from PayPal today.
I'm not sure I understand why 31 days.
but at least its an answer and procedure

Dear Charles,
Thank you for contacting PayPal.
In order to remove the duplicate hold, we need a fax from the merchant
authorizing us to remove the hold. They will need to include the amount of
the charge, your name, and PayPal card number. It will need to be faxed on
their letterhead to 1-402-935-2235. Otherwise, if the transaction does not
complete, the funds will be credited back on the 31st day.
