I had two experiences with PayPal today. One was good. One was bad. We'll start with the bad. I applied for the PayPal credit card in September. I didn't however pay the $29 application fee. At the end of the year, they sent me a credit card bill, which was for $0 and the total I owed was $0 and all that stuff. It got me thinking about it again, and I decided to go for it. So I went online and paid the $29. Well, I tried to find out when my card would be activated, and was told that it was too late and my account wouldn't be able to be activated... I think this is stupid.
Okay, I used my PayPal debit card twice today. Once on Billpoint, and once on c2it. Before my c2it transaction was even complete, I had a phone call from PayPal to verify all of my charges over the last two weeks. Now, my bank has NEVER called me to verify charges before. Because they saw a lot of internet charges (yes for as little as $1) they wanted to make sure someone else didn't get their hands on my number. It's only a little thing, but it's good to know that someone is watching out for me over at PayPal. Thanks!
