This is the second time Paypal has frozen my account for no reason. They emailed me saying to resolve all complaints, but I had no open complaints, and I track every single package that leaves my business.
They emailed me saying that my account is permanently locked for future use because of customers claiming they have not received their items. I have tracking numbers with UPS for every single item. I showed my lawyers and they were furious. A lawsuit waiting to happen.
Before I proceed with any of that, I am posting a message on this board to reach a Paypal employee that actually has a say in this whole thing. Not someone that will give me the run around when I call the 1800 number.
Does anyone know how I can report Paypal to the FBI or the Attourney General?

I appreciate your help Damon, but the people up above have no right in suspending my account.
Just because I have a friend that had his paypal account suspended, doesn't mean I should have mine suspended. I have about 15 different friends with Paypal accounts. Nearly all of them have been through many battles with Paypal only to get nowhere.
I will be reporting Paypal to the FBI and Attorney General. If anyone wants to know how to do this, email me for information. I have names of people in charge.
I also have a Lawyer that will fight for me to get my account back up, as well as sue paypal for damages of lost business. If anyone is interested in that, let me know, as he has done his research and is ready to go full steam ahead!

Hello friends,
I have heard several horror stories about PayPal. Yes, I have had a few problems but nothing to be of great concern. We have alot of money moving in and out of PayPal and still no major problems. We don't use the UPS thing - so maybe the whole integration of that is a problem.
I can tell you this, if you move alot of money in your PayPal account, they will assign you a Rep. I have one and it is great, whenever I have a question I just call them up and take care of it. They take care of everything for me. And, they let me know about special programs. So, I have nothing bad to say about PayPal.
Even if there are these horror stories, you have to look at PayPal from a global stand point. What other company has done what PayPal has done and did it successfully. PayPal has given auctions and the likes a heartbeat that will change commerce online.

The point is, Paypal froze my account because I have a friend that has a paypal account that is suspended. That doesnt make any sense and it is illegal.
Paypal is a great service for buyers, and a horrible one for sellers. I have a merchant account and the customer service and personal attention i receive from them is incredible compared to the poor excuse for customer service Paypal has.
I am now in touch with Pittsburgh KDKA News as they will be doing a "shame on you" story on Paypal that I am helping them with. I will update you all on when it will air.

if you and your 15 friends have been using each other pc to access paypal accounts, and one gets suspended and has a deficit balance, then the others could be restricted as paypal tried to recover the deficit .
like i said-same old,same old.
are all 15 of you college kids or just biological twins.??

No, only 1 of my friends had his account suspended. Paypal claims they suspended mine because of his.

same old,same old.
paypal has detected some links between the 2 accounts,if you are a graduate of carnegie, you should go figure it yourself and STOP WHINING.
how juvenile can you get,do you run to the newsmedia everytime you drop catchup on your shirt when you eat french fry at mcdonald??

Paypal is a very odd company. This whole way of freezing accounts of friends is not even in the ballpark of legal not even in the realm of conscionable. That ruling from Judge Fogel just ripped Paypal to shreds on their mandatory arbitration but nothing ever seems to wake this company up. Nadda.

the problem is a weakness in cyberbanking, how do you know who are dealing with,am i a man,or a woman or a dog??
lassie can get online too!
some lassie has his own bank account and credit cards.
also another problem with paypal is that it allows you to retrieve fund immediately either with debit card or bank transfer.
with the exception of a few who have rolling reserves,we are rather spoiled to have fund immediatelty available.

I once had a problem accessing my paypal account, called the number on my ATM card, immediately got through to the Paypal tech guys, they spent a good bit of time with me - turns out it was a problem with my DSL firewall issue or something, but I was impressed with Paypal support services.
Regarding Paypal's immediate availability of funds through debit/ATM card- I love it! compared to Billpoint holding my money "hostage" for 4-6 days before depositing it (while not giving me any interest on it, mind you).
First thing I thought of regarding the initial post on this thread, is perhaps something got flagged if funds sent back and forth among friends - if paid by credit card, perhaps it is an issue of essentially trying to avoid "cash advance" fees. Buy hey, what could I know?
We hear Paypal horror stories, but the fact is I think we often don't get to hear Paypal's side of it, because for them to post it here --- hey, it's not like Paypal Damon is going to post something like "it appears you and your friend are sending each other money that looks suspiciously like it's for the purpose of avoiding credit card cash advancement fees" - you see what I'm saying?
so, my best piece of advice - not that you asked for it - is.......
never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker (courtesy of C. Schulz - It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown)
