I have been trying since June 21, 2004 to cancel my Vendio account but to no avail. When I cancelled my account (or so I thought), their rep tried to get me to go with the "Pay As You Go" plan but I told her to just cancel the account.
Since then, Vendio has been deducting at least $2.95 every month from my PayPal account. I have been pleading (via email to their Email Support) with them to cancel my account. My last email was on October 20, and what do you know -- on October 22 there was ANOTHER charge from Vendio on my PayPal account!
I contacted Vendio tonight(again through their Email Support using "Account Cancellation" in the drop-down box) and used less than ladylike language in my request for them to cancel my account. I am at the end of my rope!
Could I have been any less subtle? "PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, CANCEL MY ACCOUNT, REFUND THE FEES YOU HAVE DEDUCTED FROM MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT SINCE JUNE 21, 2004 AND TELL YOUR STAFF AND ESPECIALLY THAT STUPID REP THAT WHEN I SAY CANCEL THE ACCOUNT, I MEAN CANCEL THE GD ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!
I am not the only one having this problem with Vendio. There are plenty of other auction-management programs out there. Having to go through this hassle to cancel an account is not worth what Vendio offers - IF YOU'RE IN THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD -- GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
