I know people sometimes can be rough on a company, but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in to how rough things can be!
One month ago I signed up for service on Andale, ready to sell the first wave of more than 500 items (out of 5000+ items) from my parents estate. And after a few calls from their salesmen I had been upgraded to a $250.00 a month account!!!
The first week of sales closed wonderfully... lots of great sales... until people began to checkout.
The short of it is that almost all of the 500 items closed with either #1. No way to select shipping; #2. USPS Book Rate forced as a selection; #3. Completely lost data; along with angry customers and two straight weeks of sleepless nights to try to get the sales all straightened out, collected, shipped and completed!
WHAT A NIGHTMARE IT WAS!
Not only was there no reasonable response from their technical support (seems to be outsourced to a low level India firm who didn't even know how to use the product), their product is plain buggy and inadequate!
Well I knew Vendio and trying to "stop the blood-flow" I decided to move sales, checkouts, communications et all to Vendio ONE AT A TIME. I have to say the calls I have made to technical support were handled quickly, professionally, understandably, AND in English. Vendio rescued the 500 sales and more importantly... the feedback!!
OK there are Wish-list items I would like to see like: #1: Having the "SELECT ALL", "ARCHIVE" "RE-LIST" Buttons at both the bottom and top of the screens; #2: Having a "Select ALL Items" button so I don't have to go to 13 + screens to select the 50 Maximum items on that screen to do a task; or even #3: A way to manipulate large numbers of items at the same time. But you know what? SO WHAT!!! These things will come. At least the program works, makes sense and has support. I lost $250.00 at Andale to find this out!!
