How do you get your picture to show up next to your listing, instead of that camera icon. I have a picture in my auctions, but I do not get one next to my title like everyone else. Being a "featured auction" doesnt seem to have anything to do with it. This is the same as the .25 cent gallery picture on ebay. I just don't know how to with yahoo???? Anyhow, can someone point out how to get the picture to show thumbnails???? Thanks!

The image must be the right size & uploaded when you create the auction. You could revise your auction and upload the image to get the thumbnail.

So there is nothing I can do via Vendio to create the thumb nail? Vendio does not support this area? The only way is to revise each auction? (just want to make sure I understand) Thanks for helping me, I really do appreciate it!!!!

Sorry, I don't list with Vendio. Hopefully someone that lists with Vendio will come along and help you.

Yesterday I put up an auction on Yahoo through Yahoo ( no Vendio ). Every time I tried to load a picture the photo line went blank and no photo would load. I submitted the auction and tried to add the photo by revising the auction but Yahoo does not allow anything to be revised except the text.

Park,

Sorry but Vendio's software does not support placing the thumbnail picture next to your listings. I believe some special code has to be created within your listing for that to work, and Vendio and Yahoo do not have an agreement that allows for such code (or Vendio doesn't care to make the changes necessary).

It is not true that all you can revise is text once an auction has been listed. You can certainly make revisions to photos even after a listing has been created. I used to do it all the time before I went to a 3rd-party software program.

Thanks emak. I went back and now see that there are three clickable selections for changing an auction instead of ebay and everyone else's one 'revise auction' link.

I've sold a few of items recently to unrated buyers and they never respond to my emails even when sent through to different email accounts. On ebay you can do a lot of detective work on buyers but there is no ability to do so whatsover on Yahoo. I hate to set the minimum feedback rating to +1 as 50% of the Yahoo buyers seem to be unrated and a few of them actually pay.

Blah Blah Blah. Last I checked, ebay requires at least 4 clicks to revise an auction and usually more if you need to change more than one area. And if you aren't getting paid, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I haven't had a deadbeat since last fall and sales have been decent. As far as the thunbnail, you must use the Yahoo picture host which is three simple clicks to revise and add the photo. And will upload very quickly. Much easier and faster than the ebay four slow loading clicks to do the same task.

Such a loveable soul you are StoneCold. Have you been busy spending that $5 you made on your ebay record auction? How many relists did that take? 4 or 5? Shrewdest seller on ebay you are.

With all due respect I doubt stonecold would use his user ID here at Vendio.....I dont.

StoneCold apparently went through a few AW accounts and may be down to his current account. Since most ebay sellers have several accounts on ebay and since there is only one that matches his ID I'd say that's probably him on ebay.

What is the signficance of the 613 after the wrestler's name? I don't follow staged wrestling and wonder if it has some importance or maybe there are so many stonecolds on ebay that sellers select numbers after it to use the ID?

That's what I thought. Like Luke - chapter 3 verse 12 . Is the wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin religious? No hint of it on Google. I thought the guy named Goldberg may be religious with that name of his.
