I sold Yahoo item #90803637 at auction today. It now appears as closed with "0" bids. It is not in my sold summary ...

I have been doing this for a long time, and I know what is supposed to happen.

However, I have to ask, what happens now?

It seems to take them awhile (sometimes hours) to display the listings in the proper place. I had sold ones a couple of days ago that took all day before they were listed in the sold list.

Well, the item sold at 14:55 PDT, and was paid via PayPal at 17:52 PDT. However, it still sits in "closed" and has no post sale summary available.

This has been a Vendio problem for both ebay and Yahoo for many, many years. I can remember writing about similar situations in the past.

Apparently, I can now mail out the item using PayPal's invoice and postage functions before the information appears in a post sale summary.

Why do I need Vendio? Why should I pay Vendio fees?

I have noticed a number of problem glitches in Yahoo. Occasionally, when I am posting, the choice of CONDITION of the item, Yahoo will include NEW as a choice, sometimes it does not and I have to post the item as MINT.

Occasionally, Yahoo will asked two or more times for passwords, and security words before posting, sometimes, it does not ask for anything at all.

Basically, with being free, I am satisfied with Yahoo at the moment.

First, if you are having a vendio problem, you really should post it at the vendio boards. When I was reading the post, I was trying to figure out why it wasn't posting to your Yahoo sold section. I can state that happens the second the auction closes. But that wasn't your question as we are later finding out. You are asking why it isn't in your vendio sold section. Can't help with that one.

One more thing that simply isn't making any sense either. Why are you or is anyone using vendio to list at Yahoo. The listings are free and you can list for 10 days with 5 relists. 50 days if your items doesn't sell. Then if it don't sell, all you have to do is click the relist button and in less then 30 seconds it is going again for another 50 days.

Yahoo has become a very low maintenence auction site. You should treat it that way and put your resources to other sites or websites.

Vendio is where I maintain my inventory, and the point of launch to ebay auctions, ebay store, vendio store, and purportedly to Yahoo.

I'm not sure of your inventory position on the items you auction or sell. I deal in philatelic materials. I most times have multiples of an item. Or. multiples of various grades of the same item. The Vendio inventory system helps maintain some order in my business.

Now, if I list on any of the sites, and do not use Vendio, my inventory is off and I have lost control of my businesss.

Further, Vendio charged me a fee for the listing. The charge established a contract between us regarding the item. "Reliance" I could rely on Vendio to perform in regard to tracking the item and to provide the tools necessary to complete the sale, adjust my inventory, and send feedback on sale.

This did not happen. I was not charged a FVF, because the item did not apppear as sold. However, I am not so sure that Vendio is entitled to the listing fee, as it did not perform as required.

I am not sure what you sell or auction. Apparently you do not depend upon the Vendio system to track your inventory.

Thanks for the advice regarding the proper place to list the post. However, I have had posts answered on this board in the past.
