Is there any way to move eBay auctions to Yahoo thru the Vendio relist menu?

Why move them? Why not just list them at Yahoo as well. Then if it sells at ebay, cancel the auction at Yahoo. If it happens to sell at Yahoo, you then revise your ebay auction to be a different items saving listing fees.

Would you suggest just cut and paste the title and desc and then add the pic to the Yahoo auction?

Stone - I am sure having trouble launching.
Seems you have to put your security key in each time. Also I tried to tell them to check my Feedback on EBay and this sentence didn't show up on Yahoo. tnx

How many windows are you using to launch your listings?

I have found if you are using two, the Yahoo system gets confused and forgets which cookie to look at on your computer and will forget the security key. Using one generally takes care of the problem.

Oh, I just remembered, when you do your regular log in, are you checking the box that says, "Remember me on this computer?" You should. Don't worry, you will still have to put your password in when you log into Yahoo auctions, it will just remember your ID saving a step for you.

I hope those take care of the problems for you. I can say, once in a while, Yahoo does have glitches to work through, but usually either clicking the back button or starting back at the beginning will fix the trouble.

TIP:

If you like having more than one browser window open and cannot for the reason stonecold explained above, you can run one window of the IE browser and another of Firefox or Mozilla. Each flavor of browser keeps their cookies in different places, so it's almost like using two different computers.

IMO, Yahoo causes too many restrictions and makes it very difficult to list. They want security keys & you can't have two Yahoo IDs to operate on the auction.

I told them to close my account after all the hassle of trying to get stuff listed.

Clearly you haven't checked them out in a while. The security key was dropped over a month ago.

Not sure what you mean on the second part, unless you mean you cannot have two different Yahoo ID's and run auctions, which couldn't be further from the truth. You actually can have as many as you like.

Yahoo is the easiest to list. Just create a .csv file for your items and bulk upload them in seconds.

Then you still have a .csv file that can easily be edited and used again later.

I have been selling on eBay since 1996 - I sold for a full year on Yahoo before they started charging.

Yahoo is now MUCH easier to list on, all of my eBay templates just drop right in.

Personally, what I am doing is, I have downloaded Yahoo's SELLER'S MANAGER, and just transfered (manuall) my eBay auctions from Turbo-List, to Yahoo Seller's Manager, easy enough.

Ok, here's a question. 4 years ago I had 2 ads on Yahoo, both had a reserve price. I had bidders on both items but the reserve price was not met and I didn't sell to the highest bidder. Both of them left a negative feedback accusing me of not selling when they won. I emailed both of them about the reserve price that was on both auctions. One of the bidders left another feedback saying it was his fault for not realizing the reserve price on my auction and he apologized profusley. I never did hear from the other bidder. Now I have a -1 rating that was not my fault. I now have a new ad on yahoo, not realizing the neg feedback since it's been so long ago. After I saw my new ad I emailed Yahoo requesting the removal of the rating. I just now got an answer back saying it's permanent and to create a new identity. Well, I have done that but when I tried to put a new ad on it said someone else has the same creditcard listed...of course it's me under my old yahoo name. I then tried to add a new creditcard number but it still wouldn't let me do it. So now what? Does anyone have an answer?

Thanks,
Karin

Bestbuysprice,

You could have had the neg changed to a positive by the bidder that apoligized. I assume you can still change feedback at Yahoo.

Tony.

I'm wondering how they were able to leave feedback if they didn't meet the reserve (i.e. didn't win the auction)? Did reserves work differently back in those days?

Media,
You hit it on the head. Clearly these auctions did not have reserves on them. It may have stated it in the description of the auction, but was not used on the listing form. The negs given in this case were deserved. If not for selling the item, for even thinking of using the reserve option.

As far as the credit card thing. That is BS as well. I have many Yahoo accounts and always use the same credit card.
