I have been buying and selling on Yahoo for 8 years and they are no better now than when I started. I look at the antique tool category a couple of times a week. Here is what I get about every other time I look.

"We did not find any auctions for Auctions > Home & Garden > Tools & Hardware > Antique "

I know they have over 100 listing in this category. Things like this are why Yahoo still has no one listing or buying on a free site. It is like no one from Yahoo cares about the auction site.

Why not close it if they are not going to run it right.

Yes, it is pretty bad. You should try relisting, they have had a several week glitch that bounces you back to a registration page several times before it will take the resubmit. PITA

They don't seem to care to fix it as I have read several chats about the problems and people have notified them.

That's an understatement. Ever try to find a link to customer service lately?

Yahoo is still a decent site to list items for sale. It's just not going to make you rich. One real downside. The loser sports cards crowd is finding it's way back to Yahoo. The deadbeat rate has risen quite a bit since it became free again.

It's free - you get what you pay free. I actually though the site had a chance when auctions were 5 cents.

It had a heck of a lot less deadbeat sports cards freaks when they did charge the 5 cents.

I would say they were listening but I am sure they didn't start now. I am glad to see them quit. Nothing worse than watching someone put no work in to a business. Yahoo had plenty of chances to be where eBay is now but they never even tried.

It is kind of sad. They were the clear #2 auction site on the web. It was very clear that Yahoo didn't care. It has also become very clear at how large a monopoly eBay really has.
