I've tried this a few times already and keep getting the same results.
I choose a few items from my Inventory to edit....I edit them, and click on SAVE either on the top or bottom of the page and nothing heppens...it keeps me on the same page that I am editing in and does not take me back to my Vendio Inventory. I've tried this with the items checked, and without.
The only way out of this page is to click on the Vendio logo at the top of the page which takes me back to my Inventory and my items I just edited do not refect any of the changes I made.
This only happens when I try to edit multiple inventory items at once and not when I just edit one item.
Any idea why this is happening.
Last week, it didn't do this to me.
Is there a new bug or something?

When you edit several item at once, it takes a few seconds after you hit save. The more you edit the longer it takes.
If you scroll up to the top you will see message on the right about sending the info or something like that. After a little bit it will click back to the beginning page of the category you are editing.

Hello and thanks for the reply, but even after waiting...still nothing..it just stays on those auctions I am editing and doesnt take me back.
If I edit 1 item, it does take me back.
Vendio..please help

Is one of the page tabs red? If so you will have to correct all the errors before it will save.

no red tabs at all.
if i bring the items to edit and do not change anything and hit save, it will save and it works fine.
if i make any changes, and hit save it just brings me back the same screen.
there is no error or red tabs
vendio?

I am having trouble also. I am using IE - and if I just edit 2-3 at a time - it works fine. But anymore then that - it will give shut down my page - close the window - and no changes are saved.

Hello,
the bulk editor was designed and tested to support up to 50 items at once. As Gtootie pointed out, the more items you edit the more time it takes to save the changes. Depending also on your internet connection, it may take up to several minutes to save 50 items.
You are perfectly right: if you close the page no saving is done.
Try to edit say 10 items at once and if still in trouble, please copy the items that caused the problem in a new folder named 'vendio customer service' (or similar) and post back. We will gladly try to edit those items in bulk and if we find a problem we will forward it to our engineers.

Excuse me if you misunderstood - but the window automatically shuts down - I don't do it.
If I edit more then 3 items I have this trouble - less then 3 it works fine. I know it sounds like a memory issue or something like that - maybe an IE issue -

please create a dummy folder, then copy the items you cannot edit to this folder. I will forward to our engineers your problem, and hopefully we can replicate it.

OK - I copied some over. This morning I was trying to change the auto launch - I wanted them all at custom. They are all at custom right now - but had to do them 3 at a time. I was also trying to change the vendio checkout button - I wanted it on in each - they are correct now - but same thing a couple at a time.
I am running XP home edition
Total phy mem - 256
Total avail mem - 27.73 mb
IE - 6.0

Hello Janarca01,
can you please copythe items that fail to save in the folder named "Vendio Eng" that we prepared for you? This would of great help for us in order to corner the issue.
If after you press Save, after a while you are returned to the same page (bulk editor), then most probably you have an error, which is not signaled with a red tab.

OK - First thing this morning after starting my computer I went to the 17 items that we copied over and tried to change all of them at once - almost instantly after hitting save got an IE has encountered an error and it shut down my window.
Windows XP Home Edition
5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 Build 2600
Did you update your operating system? If so can you tell us which? Am not sure what you mean by this?
I have a yahoo toolbar (don't use the thing though - it could go if I could figure out how to get rid of it)
No popup blocker is on
Yahoo IM starts at startup and the merlin feedback - that is all that starts up.
Please help - I really like the new program - but if I can't mass edit - it really is no good to me. I don't seem to have any trouble with any other programs, web sites, etc.

I've been having this problem as well and it is driving me batty. I'm seriously thinking of switching everything over to vendio, but I have to be able to mass edit.
I get the same as the posters above:
Edit, hit save. It sends the info, but then remains on the Save page and doesn't bring me back to the main inventory page.
The only way out is to hit cancel and then all the edits are GONE.
NO red tabs lit up indicating any errors.
