Hello,

Are these specific buyers going through the Vendio checkout? If so, click to relist, then edit the item, and doublecheck that the only shipping carriers selected/offered had valid costs listed beside them.

Hi Chris, these are buyers just using ebays checkout (god forbid they should actually try and use Vendios checkout they usually curse us for making them go through that) we get the IPN from paypal this marks the items as paid but actually it is not paid because they forgot to add the shipping I know how to solve that problem but I was wondering if any of my settings are different that will allow the buyers to edit their payment without paying the shipping we really never had a problem til yesterday and today we have had the same system in place for over 9 months and occasionally we would get a couple of buyers that did not pay the shipping but we have about 11 instances from last nite to today. Thanks for any help

Hello,

When I was checking items that were marked as paid, but hadnt gone through the Vendio checkout, it seemed as though all items that were marked as paid by PayPal had shipping costs added to them, but the items marked off as 'previously paid' had no shipping costs.

Are these items that you have marked off as paid manually?

Hi Chris this is the most recent item Ebay #5139870342 this buyer paid but did not add the shipping paypal sent the ipn and it was marked paid we refunded the buyer and asked that they send another payment with the s/h then unmarked the #3 Item paid box cancelling the payment. we never had so many of these so I do not think it is just new users I think i might have a setting screwed up but do not know what it is thanks again for your help

Hello,

Item 5139870342 appears to have been paid directly at PayPal with the shipping added to it. If your customers are paying directly at PayPal, Vendio is going to record the payment but you will have to edit step 2 of post sale, and choose the shipping that they chose in order to zero out the amount due. What are the item numbers for your other examples?

Regards,

Sonya

Hello,

We did some more investigation with this and it looks like some of your customers that are going through eBay Checkout are bypassing your shipping field altogether. In your global preferences, you have this option checked:

"Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo in my listing (Required when using PayPal Immediate Payment, Buyer Financing Options or eBay Checkout Redirect)"

Even though you are listing with eBay shipping and payment details deselected, customers can still go through eBay Checkout and they are most likely getting to this page and not entering in a shipping total:

All but one of the ones you sent us had just the item total applied (one of the items only had step 1 marked off).

You might want to consider changing your PayPal setting in Vendio Global Preferences so that customers can't pay you through eBay somehow.

Sonya

Hi Sonia, Thanks But I tried that and that caused even more problems they do not want to use vendio checkout. I have been listing this way for 3 years without this sort of frequency in buyers not paying their s/h and there is no ryhme or reason we have seasoned ebayers and newbies both not paying the shipping this has just started since saturday and like i said we never force them to use vendio checkout that just is asking for complaints to come we have implemented the Paypal IPN to help us collect their info as far as addresses and to let us know they have paid but again we never had this problem even with buyers using straight ebay checkout. Thanks again for your help
