Very cool song, Terri! But I was having trouble with the video itself. What did it mean, since I couldnt make it out very well.

Hepburn...Dont take the bait. Let her preach to herself...So very self-righteous!

Praise the Lord for letting that demon, Reverend Allen, act out his fantasy of BEATING LITTLE CHILDREN to a pulp...Halleluya!

Chocolate...I don't know WHY I am cold...After all, Mr. Bush, in his great Christian wisdom, seems to believe that ALL JEWS GO TO HELL...

Is that true, terri, dear? What says your bible?

Oh! Yes! Quite a bit warmer down the Peninsula. I often go to "The Antique Trove", from the Holly Street exit...{How a-propos that the street should aslo be HOLLY..)

shoshanah,

Jt has been doing really well keeping her religious beliefs in the appropriate threads. Your comments are disruptive and insulting.

Please do not post in that manner.

Shosh you pass my street on the way to the Trove when you take Holly. Go further on the Holly turnoff to Brittan and you'll come out right at the Trove.

I have spent hours in that store. How about that book department? You can find anything and everything there. Love that place.

Yes! That is the way I get there....The book store is incredible! I probably spend more in books than in inventory
I do some restoration for some of the dealers there.
I also always stop by the Laurel Street Antiques, and hit all the antique stores on that street...

Well, sweetie, this ol'lady is going to turn in with a good book. The fishing season is over
Have a good night. TTFN

"it is no different that you wished Bush dead?"

It's very unlike me to enter to a cat balloo but snowy, did you mean that both should be allowed, or neither?

And I am stumped, exactly what is a "cat balloo" I know there was an old, old movie called Cat Balloo or something spelled sorta like it.

I just derived the term, and there is a movie, not that old, titled "Cat Ballou". A comedy, with one severe shortcoming redeemed by the oscar winning performance of some ex marine.

Hepburn, here are many of her lyrics.
http://www.aheartofworship.com/rebecca.html
But the lyrics were not really the point. I know that you were searching and I get very upset when I see something so misrepresented. I wanted you to see what an oppressed Christian woman looks like. Another I like a lot is Amy Grant.

Faith is not about oppression...or denomination. It's about freedom and joy. Only two people have any idea whether your daddy was going to hell, and that's God and your daddy. I am very sorry that someone said that to you. Don't let whacky pastors that go off on a power trips or twisted accusations by people who have missed the entire picture shape your understanding of faith or the message that Christ gave.

Beside that, no Christian church that I know of makes anyone accept any particular "law" or teaching. The Biblical gospel is just presented, you sing some beautiful hymns, you walk away and you take it to heart or you don't. It goes both ways. I hope you really do come here to visit me because I will take you to a Southen Baptist Church...or Methodist, or Presbyterian...or where ever you want to go. Makes no difference to me.

To answer the question about Jews, my Bible says that they are God's elected people whom He loved first. He sent the Messiah to them and through them to honor them. What they chose to do with the Messiah and His message is up to them as individuals, not as a political body. The Jewish heritage and the Jewish God is the Christian God. The Jewish heritage and OT teaching is the heritage and foundation of the NT Gospel.
If you are actually interested in a more complete understanding of NT church's teaching about the Jews, read this:
http://members.home.net/cady29/pbs/trib.html#jew

In case anyone doesn't know, Gospel means "GOOD NEWS".
