Well, the dentist, Carl, is gone. After two tie votes between him & Lindsey, he lost a tie-breaker quiz.

On both tribes, the lines is clearly drawn between the younger & older members. I'm pretty amazed by just how lazy the the younger ones are. They see nothing wrong about sitting around and doing nothing--and resent the older ones for actually getting up & working.

After the second tie, Carl & Lindsay both had to "justify" why they each should remain. Carl spoke about his strengths & all he'd done for the tribe. Lindsay, on the other hand, whined that she couldn't cook, couldn't do this or do that--but that she should stay because *Carl* didn't need the money!

I'm getting more & more disgusted with the younger contestants every week!

GRRRRRRRRRRR! Grumble grumble grrrr again. I am SO pissed. I cant STAND that kim, brandon, wishy and washy (cant think of the other two names). In short, the sambura tribe, i.e. the "young ones". Lazy, no good, whiney teenyboppers who think the "older ones" want to boss them around when they want to just sit in the shade and make necklaces and compare fingernail polish while the older ones are fetching wood and water and building a shelter. Then they have the nerve to vote off Carl? Good...let them vote off all the "older ones" and starve to damn death and get mauled by tigers because they cant get their nails mussed up protecting themselves.

pant pant pant...can ya tell Im pissed? What a bunch of losers (figuratively speaking of course).

The boran tribe at least is UNITED.

Btw..I dont know her name, but I picked the one I would like to see win...the black chick, but I dont know her name. She is the one that says Africa is full of gods and goddesses and is to be revered. Shes cool.

and I would DEARLY LOVE to use Brandon as a punching bag.

Maui----I guess I would be thought of as 'an older' person. But I couldn't stand the 'OLDER GANG' in the Sambura tribe. They are the ones that began the split in the team and looked down on the 'YOUNGER GANG' because they didn't perform the way they wanted them too--barking orders and then giving them lectures when they didn't jump up and say yes sir, yes ma'am--they are suppose to be a team/ but they made the split from day one--and to every action there is a reaction. The younger group just fought back by forming their own alliance--they knew they were sitting ducks if they didn't.

I like the black woman too--but she made a bad decision in becoming a member of a foursome so early in the game.

zazzie, the way I see it, the older ones wouldnt have had to ask or demand them to do anything if the younger ones took the initiative to get off their butts and stop with the slumber party dream. They also thumbed their noses in faces with the necklaces. A house divided will fall, and they are all divided. They have the majority now, so they will vote off the older ones. Good. Then they can sit under the shade or sunbathe and make even more necklaces while they starve, since none can be bothered with cooking. Im waiting for them to join up with the other tribe. That should be interesting.

I saw it the other way--from day one the younger members have made it clear that to them this is one big vacation. Rather than pulling together to survive, their priorities have clearly been socializing, tanning, bead stringing and laying about. If they didn't want to be *told* what to do, they should have pitched in and *done* things without being told.

Tonight we learned from the younger Sambura" members that "we like to sleep in" and that they resented the older members for actually getting up & going off to fetch the water that is necessary for survival. And that they think nothing of sharing larger portions of food amongst themselves, giving smaller portions to the older members, or planning to eat all the prepared food and "making them fix their own."

Frankly, they are lazy, ill-mannered pigs.

The necklaces were made a long time after the Older Group had made it obvious they were going to take the younger group out. They tried to recruit Silas to make a majority.
Part of this game is to OUT-WIT/ well you don't outwit anyone by forming an in your face alliance and expect everyone to sit back and take it.

I bet they would have done just fine in getting water, fire-wood , cooking if at every turn they weren't being treated like children. Needs turn into action.

The Older Group turned into 'parents' --not team members--instead of sharing 'wisdom' and information they demanded compliance. Those demands have lost them the game--they Out-Witted themselves

Zazzie, I gotta disagree with ya on this topic. Myself, I would like to thump them around some, "good and proper" as oldies like me tend to say, heh.

Thump the youngins out all you want---but none of those three 'Old Folks' will be in the final four----and that is the name of the game.

They out-witted themselves by becoming adversaries to the people they should have become friends with.

bunnicula---but the "old folks" started it---the "youngins" had to do the same as a defense mechanism. The OF made the mistake of letting their alliance be found out so early

Wow, this was a real turn around for me. I said after the first show that the Sambura tribe would win hands down in an AOL poll.

Tonight they rather concentrated on the Sambura tribe, probably because when they edited the tape they knew that they were going to have to eliminate one.

Maybe they did make their alliances too early but I see them now as working older folk and younger lazy folk.

Too early to make predictions but it would look like now that the younger ones got Carl off, they will vote the other older ones off and then if they join with the Boran they will get their starving lazy a**es kicked off too.

The young Samburas make Clarence and Tom even look good!

Oh the Sambura tribe. I am STILL steaming over them. And to think I disliked Jerri/Amber last season doesn't even compare to the dislike I have for Brandon/Lindsey/Kelly and Silas. They are LAZY!!!! I actually screamed a curse word when Carl lost.

The Boran tribe knows team work and how to get things done. I hope they kick Sambura's lazy behinds.

I still miss Colby

Ok, I watched last night's show and I personally couldn't care less who got voted off of that tribe. I can't stand that tribe. I don't like anyone in it, ESPECIALLY the younger ones. Brandon irritates the heck out of me, and Lindsay's voice alone makes me want to reach through the tv and strangle her.

This tribe reminds me of being back in high school.

I like the other tribe and I hope they win. I was SO GLAD they won the 2 challenges. They deserve it. They are all hard working people (at least they seem like it so far). Even Clarence. I would rather see him win than ANYONE on the other tribe.

I thought last night that if the one tribe (with Brandon, Lindsay, etc - I can't keep the tribe names straight) that if they had to kick someone off, it was going to be Frank - the bossy one? Linsday was crying saying how she would "rather die" than have to hear his voice again, etc - and her buddy there (don't know her name) agreed with her that they were going to vote Frank off - but NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON voted for him??

I missed it! I'm trying not to read the thread so I won't spoil it for myself.

I know who was booted. That's hard to avoid seeing. It's pasted everywhere. But thats all I know.

Anyone happen to record it? I'd love to get a copy ASAP. [email protected]

On the polls at CBS--Brandon, Silas and Ethan are the top three expected to win by the viewers.

Can anyone see what the popularity polls say???--my computer won't access that page

Hepburn - Boy, do I agree with you. What a bunch of selfish, snotty nosed kids those young ones are. When they decided to eat all they wanted and said the others could make their own, that did it for me!

They should keep in mind who won the first two survivors. The old folks did!

That's right, and it came down to who laid around reading the manual and could answer the questions.

Chococake---the only reason an Oldie won the second Survivor was because a youngin had the ethics to keep her--even though he would have won the million if he had voted her out.

That youngun can EAT that manual when there is no food, no fire and he or she gets hungry enough. Then again, keeping a tan and reading during the heat of the day is really just like going to the galleria, fer sure. Like, oh my god, its like, tubular.

Brandon win? LOLOLOLOLOL. Won't happen. I see Silas going to the end and am sure one reason is because he is considered the "hunk" of this season (ICK). Ethan actually works so I'd give him the best bet out of these three.

I like the one who is revering Mother Africa too.. I hope she sticks around for awhile.

One correction that an earlier poster made about Survivor 2:

Tribe #1 was starving, but the person who fell into the fire was on Tribe #2 - he breathed in the smoke from the fire and passed out.

Tribe #2 was the one that killed a pig, had won the chickens and were eating just fine.

The lady who is revering Africa will most likely be leaving soon. She gets offended and in a huff when others do not have the same spiritual experience.
