I hate to point it out, but Carl DID have his fair chance to avoid leaving. All he had to do is know more trivia from the course text than the snot-nosed kid did.

That being said, a few comments before I vanish with the carding requirement. First, Clarence. Yuccko. And a point nobody's mentioned, not even his team members, about when he helped himself to the can of beans, then *threw the empty can away.* Who cares if he's acting like a pig tossing garbage, or hiding his action? He was pitching out a potentially useful tool! Their water situation comes to mind, for one, wouldn't an *empty* can be very useful for dipping water w/o stirring up so much muck? Bet you can come up with quite a few uses for an empty tin can in those circumstances, but did any of them think of it?? Not Clarence, anyway.

And the young punks in the other tribe. OK, that does it, I have become my parents. Send 'em all to Afghanistan carrying guns. Then send the women to Iraq. Criminey, and anyone wonders about how Pay Pal can lie and screw up so much? They're run by 30-year-olds aren't they? Now I see how. Hmmmm how old are the AW owners and decision-makers? Maybe I have a job for them too. Here, hold this gun. Point it the other way, fool. Now get on this boat, wait 30 days, get off and pull the trigger. Simple, and makes something useful out of all of 'em!

Hisssss.

Ok, up to speed, yesterday, watched all three episodes back to back, my honey taped them for me.
Sambura is incredible watching!! How they dissolved so fast as one group to become two.
And how Silas was asked by the older group and more or less, said no thanks. He should have two faced it and played it for all its worth, still think he may do that. He reminds me a bit of Will from BB2. It's a game for him to win.

And what of Boran? Has anyone picked up on any alliances there yet? They have to be starting, I am just too dense to see it.

The lions circling the Boran camp was, in a word, scary! From previews, look like Boran will meet some new wildlife this week.

Ok, I'm 30. Don't generalize that all Gen-Xers are losers. I am just as annoyed by that younger group as ya'll. They are definitely giving our generation a bad name with their lazy attitudes.

I really wanted that Lindsey to lose the tie-breaker challenge, but now it appears that the younger people have the upper hand and can pick off the older ones. Sad. I have zero respect for that alliance.

The goat farmer is still annoying. Sticking that feather in his butt did not endear him to me.

I also know a couple of 25-yr-olds who have been busting their butts to qualify as firefighters, so perhaps I should qualify my comments up there. One girl has worked several years as a forest service fire-fighter, forget if she ever actually parachute jumped but she has done sky-diving recreationally.

She moved out to Kansas a year ago after not being hired in our state, hearing it was more likely to get a job there. She hasn't, yet. Then I met another fellow who moved here thinking a nearby city had likely openings... yes, he came *from* Kansas, and didn't get hired here either.

The competition is fierce, maybe one in fifty reasonably-qualified young people can get hired. Ever since 9/11 and WTC, I've thought of those two with even more respect.

Dear Pyth00n, I have had a hard time to give reality a back seat to TV this past month. This is a chat about the rediculous TV Series Survivor 3.
Here, we just want to forget our own mortality and real life. This silly chat is about a tv series about two teams in Africa.

Never to demean your sentiments about our real world situation, but here,

we indulge in the sublime and the rediculous based on a tv series.

Be it better or worse. Sometimes--fantasy helps us cope with the real world.

Kind Regards, Jean

youngun can EAT that manual when there is no food, no fire and he or she gets hungry enough. Then again, keeping a tan and reading during the heat of the day is really just like going to the galleria, fer sure

No, you have it wrong. The youngin's are conserving their strength while voting the old ones out one at a time.

It's called Survivor, and it's every man / woman for themselves. May the most conniving one win. It's not about "being nice".
