clarksville - did I miss something? I sure don't remember seeing anything that needed to be deleted. Then again I'm not very observant sometimes.

It's been very slow in here. I guess everyone was busy visiting, cooking and eating. We had a wonderful time with family.

clarksville says I cleaned it up.

Mr. Clean - To capture part of the liquid cleanser market dominated at the time by Lestoil, Proctor & Gamble hired the services of Tatham-Laird, Inc. to create a competitive TV ad campaign. They came up with a brawny, baldheaded man with a gold ring in his left earlobe named Mr. Clean.

As the commercial jingle extolled "Mr. Clean gets rid of dirt and grime and grease in just a minute, Mr. Clean will clean your whole house and everything that's in it." The Mr. Clean commercials premiered in B/W on August 11, 1958.

LOL, clarkcleansville!

Nice to see you back. Start singing again.

Hi jdk156

HI! THIS THREAD REMINDS ME OF THE "WHO STAYS UP THE LATEST" THREADS THAT USED TO BE POPULAR LAST YEAR. JUST SOME FOLKS HAVING A GOOD OL' TIME, AND ITS GOOD TO SEE IT HERE, EVEN THOUGH I DONT PARTICIPATE. REMINDS ME OF MORE FUN THINGS IN TIMES OF STRESS, ANGER, BICKERING, ETC.

SO, WITH THAT SAID, I WILL LEAVE YOU ALL TO CONTINUE YOUR LAUGHS AND SMILES

Feel free to stop by anytime. Who knows you might even get a hankering to sing a song or two, post a joke or tell a riddle.

This has been refered to as being the crazy happy thread where anything goes.

Has everyone had lunch yet, if not i'm buying. I'll just one pop one of these into the microwave fer ya.

You are twisted man, but in a good sort of twisted way.

What channel do you watch Imus' show on?

Edited to say; I mean what station do you watch him on and what is the name of his show?

yellowstone have you ever HEARD of Imus?? It's on MSNBC at 5:30 AM central till
8:00 AM. Very soon he will go the the ranch in NM. and will broadcast from there. They have these kids with cancer come out all summer. It's a radio program that they televise.

I guess I am a little twisted. But man that's what I saw honest to goodness! I'm also hungry so I'm going to eat but it won't come from a bag. I want the roast and baked potato i saw a little while ago.

Yikes! Trai that is a nasty looking pic!!

Haha about the whole watermelon, jdk.

Old Dogs and Children and Watermelon Wine

"Ever had a drink of watermelon wine," he asked.
He told me all about it, though I didn't answer back.
"Ain't but three things in this world that's worth a solitary dime,
But old dogs and children and watermelon wine."

He said, "Women think about themselves, when men-folk ain't around.
And friends are hard to find when they discover that you're down."
He said, "I tried it all when I was young and in my natural prime,
Now it's old dogs and children and watermelon wine."

"Old dogs care about you even when you make mistakes.
God bless little children while they're still to young to hate."
When he moved away I found my pen and copied down that line
About old dogs and children and watermelon wine.

Paloma Blanca
George Baker Selection.

When the sun shines on the mountains
And the night is on the run
It's a new day, it's a new way
And I fly up to the sun

I can feel the morning sunlight
I can smell the new-born hay
I can hear God's voices calling
From my golden sky-light way

Una paloma blanca
I'm just a bird in the sky
Una paloma blanca
Over the mountain I fly
No one can take my freedom away

Once I had my share of losing
Once they locked me on a chain
Yes, they tried to break my power
Oh, I still can feel the pain

Una paloma blanca
I'm just a bird in the sky
Una paloma blanca
Over the mountain I fly
No one can take my freedom away

Dream Weaver
Gary Wright

I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind

Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget todays pain

Though the dawn may be coming soon
There still may be some time
Fly me away to the bright side of the moon
And meet me on the other side

Dream weaver
Dream weaver.......

We Built This City
Starship

We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll

Say you don't know me, or recognize my face
Say you don't care who goes to that kind of place
Knee deep in the hoopla, sinking in your fight
Too many runaways eating up the night

Someone's always playing corporation games
Who cares they're always changing corporation names
We just want to dance here, someone stole the stage
They call us irresponsible, write us off the page

We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll

We built, we built this city, built this city. we built, we built this city....

I think JACK'S thread broke the board

(in the voice of John lovitz, from SNL) Yea that's the ticket, Jack's thread is to blame, hehehe.

Seriously though, I feel sorry for all the folks whose auctions were hurt by the outage. Fortunately all my auctions ended Tuesday evening but I still couldn't get in to upload images or copy HTML for auctions that I am writing.

I think AW should at the very least offer a refund of their image hosting fees to whomever had auctions running at the time of the outage.
