Looks to me like the "righties" are getting hysterical. On this board all that they have been able to do is deliver sleazy, wisecracky, jerk comments. It's sad that you don't have anything better to offer in support of your candidate. No conversation with any substance is carried on...only petty and surprisingly juvenile efforts to insult.
I wonder what Bush has done for you personally? Unemployment is at it's highest in nine years...6.4%. Seventy four percent of Americans polled are dissatisfied with the economy. Over fifty percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the state of the country.

On February 7, 2003 the Center for Public Integrity, a non-partisan public interest think-tank in DC, revealed the full text of the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003. The classified document had been leaked to them by an unnamed source inside the Federal government. The document consisted of a 33-page section by section analysis of the accompanying 87-page bill.
SECTION 101 will designate individual terrorists as foreign powers and again strip them of all rights under the "enemy combatant" designation.

As the economy loses ground so does it's architect or more accurately figurehead. If the American people get to decide the next election the outcome is up for grabs. My guess is Bush loses. Well, Bush cut my income taxes down to zero. Zero, zip, nada. Business has been improving for me and my income has grown for the first time in 2 years. I was able to refinance my house down to a dirt cheap interest rate. Since 9/11, Bush has been kicking terrorist asses and there has not been an attack on US soil since 9/11. Bush has also been kicking democrats' asses and won over the Senate for republicans. No new gun control. Appointing conservative judges. Bush's judges may one day ban abortion. Picked conservative black/hispanic cabinet officials. Bush didn't sign onto the Kyoto Agreement which would have raised everyone's energy costs for absolutely nothing. Bush at least tried to drill our own oil and gas in Alaska. Bush is building a national missile defense that may protect the country against a nuclear attack from North Korea. And most important, there's a good Christian leading the free world.
When I see liberals/leftists/socialists (they're all the same) going absolutely nuts, I know that Bush is doing a good job. In my opinion, Bush is giving Ronald Reagan a run for his money as the best US president since Abe Lincoln.
And I think there are higher powers at work here. Think about it: Bush wins by a few hundred votes in a country of 200,000,000. On 9/11, over 3000 Americans are slaughtered by a few terrorists. Two miraculous American military victories follow. All in less than 3 years. These are very interesting times.

If getting something for nothing has been your goal, congratulations, you have arrived and can now join the many others who contribute nothing to their community and their country and would not countenance anything that might require giving of themselves but, however, would never miss a chance to critiize those who try.
If you are impressed because there have been no terrorist attacks in the US for nearly two years under the Bush, the two time deserter, administration, then you must be absolutely ecstatic over the Clinton administration's performance; no attacks for about seven years. Meanwhile, hundreds, if not thousands of people, including Americans, have been killed by "terrorists" in other countries.
Cabinet officials, and others, should be chosen "by the content of their character, not the color of their skin".
Bush, the two time deserter, hasn't signed anything that would benefit the world and all of its inhabitants. His self serving agenda is much narrower than that, such as promoting a needless, unworkable "missle defense system" in order to provide contracts (money) for his cronies.
Miraculous victories? Bush, the two time deserter, lost the war in Afghanistan, no Osama, despite having at his disposal an arsenal of unprecedented capabilities to use against a handful of lightly armed tribesman and peasants and spending zillions of dollars and thousands of lives.
Bush, the ignorant two time deserter, is now doing a reprise of these failed actions in Iraq, spending zillions of dollars and thousands of lives to find hundreds of tons of mysterious, mystical weapons of terrible destruction, ready to be unleashed upon the world in , oh' let's say, about forty five minutes, or when I finish my coffee, whichever comes first. One hundred and fifty thousand "coalition" forces have been there for months now and haven't been able to find a spent firecracker, let alone WMD. These "coalition" forces, of all ranks, are beginning to mutter unpleasant things concerning their untoward circumstances.
You find the deaths of 3,000 human beings on 9/11 "interesting"....now that is interesting.
You sure do have a thirst for blood, auctionguy, other peoples, of course.
Would I vote for this murderous coward?
I vote that he be given a speedy and fair trial for cowardice in the face of the enemy, then be quickly hanged on the south lawn.

His ratings slip a little each day. People are
refinancing their mortgages and biting off way more than they will be able to chew down the road when values fall in line with wages. No terrorist attack since 9-11? Big Deal.There had been no serious attack PRIOR to then for a much longer time. Clinton didn't get credit for that.. If the economy hasn't seriously turned around and US troops haven't stopped dying on a DAILY basis, we'll see how easy the next election will be. If the Dems can get Gore's voters back plus the silly folks who voted for Nader, it WILL be very easy...but not for Bush.

Although I don't agree with auctionguy's presidential selection, I appreciate his answer, especially since it was delivered without insults.
"I wonder what Bush has done for you personally?" Unemployment is at it's highest in nine years...6.4%. Seventy four percent of Americans polled are dissatisfied with the economy. Over fifty percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the state of the country.
