AS YOU MAY ALREADY KNOW, IT IS A SIN FOR A TALIBAN MALE TO SEE ANY WOMAN OTHER THAN HIS WIFE NAKED, AND THAT HE MUST COMMIT SUICIDE IF HE DOES.

SO THIS SATURDAY AT 4 P.M. EASTERN TIME(1 P.M.IN CALIF.) ALL AMERICAN WOMEN ARE ASKED TO WALK OUT OF THEIR HOUSE COMPLETELY NAKED TO HELP WEED OUT ANY NEIGHBORHOOD TERRORISTS.

CIRCLING YOUR BLOCK FOR ONE HOUR IS RECOMMENDED FOR THIS ANTI-TERRORIST EFFORT.

ALL MEN ARE TO POSITION THEMSELVES IN LAWN CHAIRS IN FRONT OF THEIR HOUSE TO PROVE THEY ARE NOT TALIBAN, AND TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY THINK ITS OKAY TO SEE NUDE WOMEN OTHER THAN THEIR WIFE AND TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR ALL AMERICAN WOMEN.

AND, SINCE THE TALIBAN ALSO DOES NOT APPROVE OF ALCOHOL, A COLD 6-PACK AT YOUR SIDE IS FURTHER PROOF OF YOUR ANTI-TALIBAN SENTIMENT.

THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT APPRECIATES YOUR EFFORTS TO ROOT OUT TERRORISTS ND APPLAUDS YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS ANTI-TERRORIST ACTIVITY.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

IT IS YOUR PATRIOTIC DUTY TO PASS THIS ON.

skylite, your strange, really. You and hibberst whoever, (the one who posted the charred remains of an American in Iraq)

Yes we know, that is a cemetary, what? Arlington? and so, there should be men and women there who fought for this country in both World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and all other places that the military did go.

And we do know you do not like Bush. Ok. Please don't vote for him. Vote for Kerry.

So, your point is? on all these .gifs and .jpgs your posting? Shock value?

I see it as a 2004 election day reminder of the number of lives lost in a needless battle in which Bush led the country to war based on false information.

Hibberst's image showed the remains of a civilian Iraqi taxi driver and his cab. And he defined it as "a still photo, taken shortly after he was liberated by heroic coalition forces".

And where did hibberst put that was an Iraqi?? He or she or it, put some such sh*t like 'Fast Food Iraqi Style' what is anyone (except you) supposed to think?

Nearthesea,

I believe that skylite is using the photo of war dead to illustrate the number of deaths currently counted in Iraq and the number that will eventually fill such a cemetary. The election banner should give you a clue to the message.

Your wrote...

Hibberst indicated that the photo was an Iraqi on the second page of the thread. You want to know what anyone "except me" would think? I'll take a guess that other people thought exactly what I thought. I considered his opening quip about the french fries inappropriate and offensive.

But I understood his message nevertheless.

Helen, I saw that thread, saw the first thing, the picture, and didn't go any further, and won't now.

Offensive, yes. And esp. with the title

And now skylite, maybe not that offensive, but kinda dumb. No, I don't see a picture of Arlington Cemetary as how many have died in Iraq, I see it as ALL the American soldiers buried there, who have now in the present, and in the past, fought for what was RIGHT, and for our counrty, the U.S.A.

I know you hate to hear that, but hell, I'm saying it, you disagree, so, vote Kerry, he's your guy. He was also the 'guy' who VOTED FOR the war in Iraq. and now what is he saying? he's a joke.

All people, including myself, would see Arlington Cemetery in that way, nearthesea if they were presented with the photo alone. But in this case it is used symbolically to represent the current number of war deaths in Iraq and the number of deaths that will continue to mount in Iraq and other places if George Bush is elected again.

The fact that George Bush is not fighting for a just cause does not diminish the deaths of these good soldiers. To suggest that I or anyone here might think so is dumb.

I hope you vote your guy, and like replay says 'Stay the Course' (is that really his motto?)

He did say that, and clearly argued his support for the statement. He does NOT want to pull out of Irsq, and specifically stated that it would the worst possible thing to do. Kerry was arguing with a **WAY** left-wing anti-war guy who claimed Kerry was a traitor to his party for wanting to "stay the course."

The Democrat was the former Dean of City College in NYC.

This speech/argument was the subject of Rush's show yesterday. Rush's main point was that the Dems may regret support of Kerry now that they are getting to know him as more than just the "anti-Bush."

Ok, skylite, say something. Which war or battle have you been to?

No, I have not been to war. I probably could have gone in at the end of Vietnam, as a nurse or medic, but I did not. My brother was drafted and my husband was already in the Air Force, they both went. My father was in WWII. No, I have not, but have seen what war has done to good men. But the men I know, never once bitched or moaned about it, or do now.

So, which one skylite, Vietnam? Korea?
