Yes Bunni, that was a fitting end to that nonsense and it's even funnier now in retrospect.

Twelvepole's comment there still keeps me smiling.

Beside no one can say I am biased... I piss everyone off sooner or later...

How true.

What a bunch of garbage! You guys are unreal. Kiara and I are two separate people but fortunately, we think the same - we're anti-republican.

Nero, I think your posts about Kiara suck. You've always been a fairly good poster but lately, you seem filled with anger. Kiara is one of the best posters here and nothing you say is going to change anyone's mind... well, anyone's mind that matters.

Remember this, when Clinton lied nobody DIED.

How easily you forget the thousands of children that died on Monica's dress and the 3000 people that died on 9/11 due to Willie's incompetence.

Kiara, sure glad you got tired of posting as skylite.

bunnicula, I dropped the thread because I was done with it. I corresponded with the seller and we both agreed it was very uncanny that the tables had water marks on them in the same place among other similarities. I had no need to prove anything to anybody else. I asked for opinions about the pictures I got opinions about the pictures. I knew where it stood. And yes I finally told kumkquat what a phoney she is. Sucking it all down on everybody else for but never quite contributing anything herself. So according to you I guess I was supposed to go and on and on with it??

Just because nobody else could see the similarilities from the degradation of copying a picture over the internet really wasnt my concern. To me and the seller it was not all that far fetched. As far as the light goes, I had two auctions with multiple pictures. Some with the light on and some with the light off--do you really think I cared what anybody else had to say and the ensuing lectures and nastyness ontoward after I spoke to the seller? Whats the point, to entertain you?

Helen, it really behooves you that somebody can respect somebody else? Yes, we are the best of friends now. Friends that dont even know each others names or where they live. "Linda, I'm having a barbeque next saturday - want to come over?" Thats what friends do, Helen, in case you dont have a real perspective of what friends are.

Supporters like you are going to tank the democrates for sure!! Heaven forbid you should exhibit any civility in your posts...and you supposedly represent the democratic party?? The giving, caring, generous ones? For the people, by the people, ALL the people type of democracy? Tell me where does that show through in any amount of credibility in your postings to this board?? At least I respond like a true democrate where if I see somebody getting beat up i will step in and offer aide. You just got a nasty axe to grind with particular people.

Now I beg to differ with you about different ID's in Vendio. I have two seller ID's and one day I was uploading pictures to my 2nd account when I went in and read the EO. I answered a question and that was under my 2nd ID. I can post under two different ID's so it is possible. To register all you need to do is have a valid CC. Whats to stopping someone from signing up with a second CC under a different name. Many husbands and wives have different last names. Wives use their CC to post and then Wives use the husbands to post. or visa versa.

I always wondered about skylite and the other person whom I can't spell the name or I really don't care how it is spelled. Were they given a vacation or did they just leave and come back as another person...

Sucking it all down on everybody else for but never quite contributing anything herself.

Nero, for years I was a regular contributor on the Outlook but last fall I devoted more time to one of my business ventures. Shortly afterwards when you started a thread inquiring about me I did stop in to say hello. Our next exchange that I remember was on this thread where you were having personal problems.

http://www.vendio.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&id=544693&thread=544473

Then came the infamous "lamp" thread where you went all weird and the rest is history. If you come to the boards for personal friends in real life, complete with the BBQ, that's fine with me. But don't expect me to be one of them and then turn this into a high school back-biting situation when I won't give up my personal life.

It's none of your business if I have a social life, what my ebay room looks like, who I live with or if I'm having sex or who I'm having it with, okay? Go find someone else to "share" with.

Thanks, Kraft.

We're a bit different as I'm not even really that anti-Republican, I just want leaders I can trust somewhat as all parties aren't bad or good but I don't trust President Bush. Some of my friends and family are Republican but they seem more reasonable in their thinking than some that post on the boards here and hurl insults.

Bear, you have to try better than that. Anyone can see skylite and I are quite different.

Libra, nothing can stop people from signing up on Vendio several times with CCs. I said that last night.

If you want to make sure that you only use one ID to post on the boards but have different ones registered for selling, all you have to do is write to Vendio and they will block the other ones for you so you only have one posting ID. That's exactly what I said last night. If you don't ask Vendio to block it, then you can post to the boards with both.

Libra, actually it is just the opposite. Clinton HATES the nickname Slick Willie.

--------------

WASHINGTON (AP) - For Bill Clinton, his greatest failures as president have nothing to do with the scandal over his affair with a White House intern. "I'm sorry on the home front that we didn't get health care and that we didn't reform Social Security," the former president told CBS'"60 Minutes" in an interview aired Sunday.

In international affairs, Clinton said he regrets he wasn't able to persuade the Israelis and Palestinians to make peace and that he "didn't succeed in getting Osama bin Laden." He gave the interview in advance of Tuesday's release of his 957-page memoir, "My Life."

On the Middle East, Clinton placed the blame for the collapse of his efforts to broker a peace deal squarely on the shoulders of Yasser Arafat. The Palestinian leader refused to accept formulas for peace offered by Clinton in late 2000.

"This was an error of historic proportions," Clinton said.

Clinton recalled a lighter moment seven years earlier just before the signing of the Oslo peace accords. Clinton had told Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin that he would have to shake Arafat's hand. Rabin begrudgingly agreed, saying: "All right. But no kissing."

So, Clinton said he and national security adviser Tony Lake found themselves practicing at being Rabin and Arafat to figure out how to keep Rabin from receiving the traditional Arab greeting of a kiss on the cheek. They eventually found a way, leading to a historic handshake at the White House.

The former president says his worst day in the White House came when he had to tell his wife, Hillary, about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. "I had a sleepless night and woke her up and sat down on the side of the bed and just told her," he said. "It was awful."

Clinton discussed other highs and lows:

_When asked about some of the not-so-flattering nicknames ascribed to the former president, Clinton said he most dislikes "Slick Willy."" No one could fairly look at my political life and say I didn't believe in anything."

_Clinton said he wished he had never said he had tried marijuana but didn't inhale, even though he maintains it's true. "I really tried to inhale. I was incapable of inhaling."

_Clinton said he's had second thoughts about his controversial last-minute pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich, the ex-husband of Democratic donor Denise Rich. But on the merits, he said, "Nobody's yet made a case to me that it was the wrong decision."

_The high school graduation for daughter Chelsea was one of his finest days in the White House. "When I saw what she had become ... that's probably the best day."

In an interview with Der Spiegel newsweekly released earlier Sunday, Clinton said that it will take at least five years before Iraq becomes a stable and secure country. He said the planned transfer of power to Iraqis on July 1 would most likely fail to stop violence in Iraq.

LOL, Kraft. Better looking? Those are fighting words!

Personally I think this whole thing is so silly. All crowfarm did was bump a thread and it's sad that she had to be accused of that as she contributed some good sense to this forum.

Do some people feel that threatened by us that they think we are running around with dual IDs? Most of us can support our claims on any issue with just one ID. Maybe they wonder how so many people can possibly differ with their viewpoint so to rationalize it they convince themselves that the person registered another ID.

Bear is correct, Libra. It is Clinton's least favorite nickname. I watched the interview.

Funny in all the years you have been registered you have 108 posts... yeah some original id...maybe but I think one was made for playing... yeah that must be it

Oh well don't let the door hit ya on the way out.

Oh and no one I know posting here would mess with your auctions... I certainly don't have the time or inclination.

I really don't give myself that much credit to think that my few words might tank any political party. Do you feel that your brand of civility will affect your party of choice? When I review the log, I think that it just might.

It was bad enough having this jerk in the White House to give our Country a bad name and make us the laughing stock of the world, but I couldn't imagine anyone giving their hard earned money to buy a book written by this clown. I guess some people will read anything. But like they say, Birds of a Feather Flock Together.

MAH...George Bush is the laughing stock of the world and "clown" would describe him so perfectly if he were not so dam dangerous. And hasn't he generated a lot of books...all about his propensity to lie...Big time dangerous lies not just about sex, that is.

BTW...You can check it out at the library and not spend a dime. Another good book about Clinton is "The Clinton Wars" by Sidney Blumenthal

Sorry about the nick name I had my back to the TV trying to scan pictures and I guess I miss the part where he didn't like it. I missed a lot of parts but who cares it will be broadcasted over and over so maybe sometime it will sink in.

BTW crowfarm is a male.

Why would any of us fool with anyone's auctions. At least I never have time and with everyone else in here I doubt if they have time either. I honestly don't care if someone knows my user IDs. It isn't a secret what I sell like most others it is purchased at Estate Sales, Auctions or where ever I can find quality things. So if you want to know my user ID you will have to jump through fire rings, bow on your knees and say please .

Nobody answered. Where are the picture posters, they seem to have disappeared or are they here in disguise.

For shame, for shame.

Helen, how petty can you be, keeping a log of all that have offended you. Must have thousands of pages in your little black book by now. I know Twelve, Linda & I HAVE to have our own little listings in your hate book.

During a visit to the United States the Pope met with President Clinton when Clinton was in the White House. Instead of just an hour as scheduled, the meeting went on for two days. Finally, a weary President Clinton emerged to face the waiting news media.

The President was smiling and announced the summit was a resounding success. He said he and the Pope agreed on 80% of the matters they discussed. Then Mr. Clinton declared he was going home to the White House to be with his family.

A few minutes later the Pope came out to make his statement. He looked tired, discouraged, and was practically in tears. Sadly he announced his meeting with the President was a failure.

Incredulous, one reporter asked, "But your Holiness, President Clinton just announced the summit was a great success and the two of you agreed on 80% of the items discussed".

Exasperated, the Pope answered, "Yes, but we were discussing the Ten Commandments."

MAH...just call me helen. You are right that I wouldn't stand in line to buy a book by George Bush but his autobiography could be one of the funniest books in the world if it was not edited and rewritten by a neoconservative propagandist or by the ghost of Carl Rove or Cheney. Regardless of the author, I would read it. I've read many authors that I have less respect for than George Bush.

neroter - I wish it could be a mind invigorating debate if it was just about the issues but it never can be can it?

You're not alone in wishing it could be more that way here, many have said the same thing. But it seldom is - seldom has been - and it doesn't look like that's about to change now.

I have long enjoyed posters, like yourself, who hold different ideological viewpoints from mine and who also have the ability to discuss them in a civil manner with one another. I enjoy the back-and-forth of a good conversation when there are differences. I think as adults we do have the ability to stick to the subject and avoid turning every disagreement into personal insults.

What I personally have found is that I'm much more inclined to 'truly listen' to/consider an opposing view when it's not layered in insults and just the view point is offered. Like you suggested with Coulter and Maher.....many ARE able to hold very different political views and not see the person as 'needing help' because they see the same issue differently.

But I long ago came to the realization that I can only control my own actions/words and so I work to let as much of the personal 'stuff' slide off my back as I am able to at any given time - take it with a grain of salt - sometimes easier said than done - especially on some of these threads.

Twelve, who the heck are you to investigate ME?
What are you the Vendio police?
WHAT exactly did you prove, oh wise one, by showing the date I registered.....Going to mess with my auctions???? What other reasons would there be?
All it proves is that I'm registered and have the backbone to post in my original ID.
Maybe I was foolish to do that with people like you in here!

TWELVEPOLE, You didn't answer my question, what did you prove by investigating me...posting my registration date.....
All it proves is when I registered and it is public but why post it? To show how clever you are? Wow, that was so clever...cut and paste...ooooohhhhhhh.

And LIBRA, people will mess with auctions. Republicans stoop to anything. And where did you get the idea I was male...you have no idea. But, of course, being a conservative you just have to know the sex of someone because my sex affects everything I say and do and how could you possibly understand my words without knowing my sex!!!!!!!!Duh

HELEN, you may as well give up.....look what happened to me. Big Ed Schultz was right, the Republicans will stoop to anything.

Bush "outed" a CIA agent because her husband criticized the administration. He didn't care that this could very well end up with her death along with many of her contacts'.
I bet ALL Republicans are so disappointed that she hasn't been murdered so far...that would teach her husband a lesson in free speech in America....not to criticize the present regime...you know, like the Communists.
The Neo-cons on this board have been successful, too. I will no longer post for fear of interference in my auctions because unlike them I had the backbone to post in my original ID.
I was foolish, I know, but I thought there was a vestige of free speech left in this country but it's going fast.
