Yes, why doesn't he explain that? It's obviously brought a level of duress to Shelly.

Oh my. I checked this thread after you'd first posted, Shell, and you were fine. I haven't been doing the RT tonight, then I saw 37 posts here. Glad your friends have kept you company, and sorry for the distress and delay. Neither was deliberate. I apologize.

Spazmodeus has done us both a great service in relating a real-life AW story that illustrates beautifully the concerns I had. If that's just a big "huh?" to you, it means there's no problem. Everything is okay. Please believe me.

BTW, I had no idea your graphics were being ripped off. What a drag. There have been some good threads in the EO about ways to personalize images to discourage theft. If you're interested, just say so (I'll check back on this thread), and I'll dig them up tomorrow, which is turning into URLday for me anyway.

Hope we're square now on the security business. Let me know re the graphics threads, if you'd like them.

Maybe someone could go over to the thread Pareau is posting to and give a little nudge over here. Enough suspense already. I nominate KRS

LOL, I didn't know you were around today or I would have added your name to the list of those who would remember.

Spaz --

I crack up just thinking about him. He brought the EO to its knees for probably the span of a week. Sure gave Bob Mills a work-out...haha!

Shelly, I'll be happy to tell you, but not here. It wouldn't be right, and you'll understand when I tell you. Email me here at AW, but only from your AW mailbox (if not, I won't get the email).

[email protected]

I probably won't get back to you until tomorrow, but I shall.

Your choice, Shelly. It's not "secret," but there are some things that cannot be posted at AW. For example, you appeared to be on the verge of posting someone's private information here the other night, a violation of AW rules. Remember? I warned you about that, and you didn't post it.

Sorry about the misunderstanding here, and I can assure you I'll direct no warnings or concerns your way in the future.

Seems like we've got our respective questions as resolved as we're going to, and the moderator may lock the thread now. Have a great Sunday, all!

pear-o,

Spazmodeus has done us both a great service in relating a real-life AW story that illustrates beautifully the concerns I had.

Now it's my turn to HUH?...that story had nothing to do with any security concern. It had to do with a poster who posted with more than one ID.

Shelly,

Were you really going to post verse? Yous, or someone else's poetry?

krs, it appears you've exceeded your "huh" quotient for the weekend. I'll leave it to spaz to explain what the story he relates has to do with security--if he wishes to, of course. Meantime, have a great weekend!

No pear-o,

Spaz took us on a stroll down memory lane, as he said, but you interpreted it somehow to be an illustration of your very vaque point, as you said.

I ask you what the one has to do with the other, and you leave it to Spaz to explain?

I'm sure that Spaz could take a stab at it, but I doubt that he would as he is not given to speaking for others and it is your premise for which you grasp at Spaz's (or likely anyone's) words to support. You said it, you support it. Leavings of such kind imply that you feel that you have minions to do your dirty work for you, and I can't imagine Spaz accepting that role without resistance.

SPAZ sez: "I'm betting only krs, stockticker and antiquary will recall the specifics of the story above. "

You lose the bet, what do Julesy and I get.....exotic flowers????
