I guess this new seller will be learning some things the hard way. Perhaps she started selling because she thought she could make big money and it is not appearing as she thought. I may be a little strange because even though I don't say I will combine in all of my auctions, if you bid on more than one of mine, I automatically combine (if it is feasible). You don't have to ask. I work hard for my money and I "assume" most other people do too. Shipping is expensive enough without trying to stick it to my customers. I have a lot of repeat buyers because I treat my customers with respect which is what this seller did not do to your aunt.
Please tell your aunt that not all sellers behave this way and probably only a very tiny percentage are like this. I hope it doesn't discourage her trust in bidding on the internet.
