I have had both good and bad experiences with Canadians. Lately mostly bad. When there is a problem it seems that the issue is money. They want us to feel sorry for them because they have to pay in American dollars, and that we should mark merchandise as gifts to avoid duty fees. This is offensive--why should I as a seller do something dishonest and risk my neck. I never do. My attitude is: If you are buying American, ante up and shut up--! If you like American products and the variety we have here, then pay for it without whining.
Oh yeah--I never leave feedback first.

I list all the terms for international bidders in my auctions so all is spelled out clearly. Amazing how few people read.

Let me add Laker Fans to the mix. They suck!!! Go to Canada with your juice bars, and surfboards. See where that will get you.

My buddy listed 2 Blazer Tickets up for sale this past week. Buy it now was $266 or something like that. Anyhow, he showed me the auction after he started having problems with the Buy It Now buyer. Apparently, the dumbass from LA couldn't read the title correct (BLAZER TICKETS Game A vs. LAKERS), nor could he read the item description properly, which clearly stated in several (at least 3) different places that the the game was at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon plus other various hints that this wasn't the Thursday game tix for the Staples Center in LA. So the dude does Buy It Now, then pays via Paypal immediately. My friend was out of town and has been in contact with the guy for the last 4 days, and the dude knew he would be getting tix shipped as soon as my buddy gets to town, with plenty of time for shipping. Then things change. The guy wants to meet my friend in front of the venue tonight. So, my friend makes arrangements to meet him, and that is when the guy realizes (so he says) that he bought the wrong tickets and wants my friend to refund his money. I told him to email the dude and let him know the tix are in Portland and that he committed to buy them. Now the guy threatened to reverse his charge either through his credit card or through paypal. I don't think my friend has anything to worry about here, but has anyone had a charge reversed on them from an ebayer, either through their credit card or through paypal?
I bet he is actually from Canada. lol... Isn't Bryan Adams from Canada. Sorry, thought that was funny.

I myself no longer accept bids from Canadians. Nothing personal, but my last experience with a Canadian buyer left me with a Negative FB. She claimed I was trying to gouge her on shipping (even though my TOS clearly states US sales only and she bid anyway) when I merely stated the actual shipping to Canada. Do Canadians not understand that it costs more to ship across the border? I've shipped to Europe and Australia with less grief than I get from Canadians. I really do hate to lose their business because I have nothing against Canadians personally, but I just don't need the BS.
