I enjoyed Fluffy's posts. They were informative and I was tittilated by her abrasiveness. I would read one of her abrupt posts with relish knowing it would be the ingredient to make the pot boil over.

She really does have a keen business acumen if you ignore that one small problem with PR......

I stopped posting and started lurking when Fluffy, Kiara and several other posters quit adding their comments.

Theres still a lot of my favorites and I do still check in daily... Neglus, Jack, Lucy, Sanmar, Fenix, Lucy, glassgrl, bizzy, etc. (just to name a few...I'm sure I've left others off, but I'm old and it's early and those are just the ones that come to mind), but the board hasn't been the same lately. I just migrated over to the Ebay boards.

Glad to see Kiara, and others back to posting occassionally though It would be nice to see "vibrancy" on the boards (borrowed from ebay...my most hated word of the year but seemed appropriate here)

Still check this one out daily though, and I'm one that definitely misses Fluffy. She often said what I didn't have the nerve to say. It's dangerous to post in here sometimes

LOL @ Jack........ still says it like he sees it.

Hi Lindajean, good to see you drop by and I hope to see you more often as I missed your posts also.

Getting back to this comment:

You know, it never ceases to amaze me that there are some posters that usually post only to the RT, BUT when a controversial subject comes up on the EO, they jump on their high horses and post their opinions. It's very sad actually that they have nothing better in their lives than to continually interject their opinions and very rarely (if ever) offer anything of substance. In other words, they really do need to get a life!

Okay, I’m one of the guilty ones that stops by to (gulp) ‘interject my opinion’ on controversial topics at times but when I lurk and skim the threads those are the topics I’m drawn to….. like a moth to a flame, like a bee to honey…… what can I say?

Some of us may see things a bit different than others or have a different way of saying things and because of the standards some seem to have set here it causes dissention if we’re perceived to be too rude or too direct or not polite enough or kind enough (as witnessed in another topic at the moment now).

In the real world many females find out that there is a fine line between being known as a nice person or a
b!tch. Males don’t seem to have this problem so much do they? A few years ago on ebay I did an experiment and for quite a while bought items pretending I was a male just to see how I would be treated and it was interesting and fun.

nothing wrong with the way fluffy speaks her piece of mind,it is like hillary speaking or worse?
she may be a great person, but a lousy retailer.
many of you assume just because she is articulate and knowledgible, she is a successful business woman, sorry she is not in my book!

Here are a couple more that I like--and now I promise not to turn this thread into a Round Table discussion!

Cute Roadie!

And now back to our attempt to maintain the longest thread.....

Fluffy WHO??

I've looked on and off for 4 days and still haven't found her. Think she went off her meds and is now imprisoned somewhere???

Maybe she developed a new identity and is now selling as Roverthedog???

Thanks, Japerton. I'm one of those preacher's-kids-gone-bad. They're either angels who become ministers or - umm - like my brother and me.

We should take this to the RT, right?

In fluffy's case, she wasn't even close to that line. It was always distasteful to read posts that just belittled others.

I agree that it is objectionable to make comments that only serve to "belittle others" and with that thought in mind, I question the intent of your remark.

It seems that some only remember Fluffy's rudeness and overlook all the other content she contributed. Yet I find it interesting that few comment on the rudeness and language of others here. Perhaps because it's done mostly by males so there is a double standard or it's easier to absorb a vacuous one-liner than concentrate on the entire message that a person like Fluffy was saying? BTW, she had some of the best and innovative one-liners here without being crude.

About the fine line females find themselves crossing at times...... seems like we can be known as a 'nice person' for a long time but if we take a stand by being honest or firm and to the point, we can so easily be called rude or the B word. If men stand up for themselves it is viewed as them being more manly.
