It wouldn't be a bad thing to go back to the beliefs of this country's roots. It was a MUCH better world morally speaking.

Assuming, of course, that you're not black.

You're right...absolutely right. Talking about the intent of the founders. That was NOT their intent. (Sorry, outta here...will pick up tomorrow.)

gvny,

Though as you say, "YES, there is such a thing as speech dyslexia", your dear resident dumbya has steadfastly maintained that he doesn't suffer that hindrance.

Oh, no history lesson tonight. You must be SO disappointed, Antiquary. We'll make a citizen of you yet.

Hey gvny
Don't take it too personally.
I would imagine that having voted for the moron I'd be in denial as well.

Perhaps you ought to read something that explains the kind of doublespeak that Dumbya's writers tell him to say.
Try some Noam Chomsky, Neal Postman, and Danny Schecter.

Maybe you'll understand that by basting himself in the thick gravy of patriotism he has whitewashed checks and balances by buying his way into the whitehouse.

How IRONIC that now that all the term limit, spending limit folks are on power, they don't want to chew on that bone.
How IRONIC that this president labels himself with all the trappings of education, working families and environment...and does the corporate Lewinski to american/international corporations.
You think Clinton was an adulterous whatever? LOL!!! You don't even know that while you are whining about poor George, he's taken the higher ground, yup, straight to bed with the Fortune 500.

You can finger wag all you want, you can dredge up every "sin" Bill ever may have thought of, you can blame any economic woe on the democratic anything (god there's a textbook case of denial), and you can even blather on about morals.

But guess what? It's blowing smoke up the a$$ of any intelligent person who knows better.

Worse, we have an inarticulate numbskull for a president and you folks are worried about spelling errors.
LMAO!!!!

Sorry, but do a little more critical thinking.
Kneejerk is dull as wet pavement. I am not a card carrying anything, but I cry at the national anthem, I am an AF brat, and probably have done more for my country than a lot of flag waving self serving business types that use it in advertising etc.

All right. Now I encourage all of you to write your reps, etc. Let them know that the Moralists, the picayunes, the blinded business interest is not necessarily america.

BTW, got a gripe with welfare? Instead of b@*$&ing about some woman who uses what, 25k a year, why not jump all over the a$$ of a business that brings in 30 jobs but costs a city/county money in taxes for infrastructure.
Now that's non-partisan.

I did not bring it up as I was wondering if snowydays was ever going to go look up her error for herself or not. I thought it was pretty funny her telling me that I was insulting her by revealing that she was using conservative logic. I do not believe for an instant that snowydays posted refusal to become educated on the bible passage that was mentioned in an earlier thread http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=28&id=72725&thread=72335 just because she felt that my mentioning her error in her post was an insult to her.

AS FAR AS DYSLEXIA GOES: I have always had very bad dyslexia. In school, I learned to both memorize everything that the teacher said and to also make sure that I completely understood the lessons and the facts, because I could not read very well. I believe that my stuttering problem is also related to Dyslexia.

HAVING DYSLEXIA IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO BE UNEDUCATED! IT NEVER STOPPED ME! AND IF IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME TO WORK FOUR TIMES AS HARD AS THE NEXT PERSON TO GET AN EDUCATION, THEN GEORGE W. BUSH, JR AS PRESIDENT HAD BETTER BE DOING 10 TIMES AS MUCH!

Stepping off my High Horse now . . .
