karen the easiest way to get to see the new post is to hit the refresh button up the top of the screen or simply click on Message Center and then when you see the tread name it will have a yellow NEW beside it and that tells you that there has been a new post made.

Can you use live traps or something Bob? I'm not at all familiar with possums.
Well, Pogo is a happy kitty again. Now that mommy is back in the office, I'm in the proper chair to make the perfect lap for her to curl up on and go to sleep. She's been on my lap all night just purring away! I'm just glad she's out of heat to enjoy it, LOL!

mouse, Live traps are what I'm using.
The local wildlife laws say that you're supposed to release them within 500 yds of where they were caught.
As soon as you do that they come straight back again.
Good job the odometer on the ute isn't working. I've got a poor sense of distance!

I think that you can get traps to catch them live. I suspect that is what Bob is trying to do.
Possum pee can smell awful in you ceiling, and I believe that it can stain you ceiling as well. YUK!!!
Bob Have you tried the shot gun yet.
OMG it isn't supposed to rain down there is it, you will have to tarp your roof unless you have fixed the tiles.

If I can get the rest of them tonight I've got the tiler lined up for tommorow to replace all the damaged tiles and re-point the roof.

When we went to Hawaii back in 1985 we had talked about making a trip to Australia. But, you know how that goes, money, time etc. We were gone from home for 21 days, got to see family on the way back and I am so glad we did.
Now I don't think I'll ever get to Australia. I know I'll never dive on the great barrier reef...time goes so fast.
Not that we haven't done a lot of fun things but going to Hawaii and Australia were always
two big dreams of mine.

Bob, just thought I'd let you know that I have a possum problem as well... they are in our roof every night and make such a racket!!
Last night, I heard a noise out the back, I went to investigate and saw two possums on top of our pergola. Only baby ones I think.
A couple of weeks ago, there was a baby possum dead on the ground under the pergola, I think it must have fallen off pergola or out of one of our trees.
Don't quite know what we are going to do about them - they are keeping me awake at night. Let me know if you come up with a solution Bob...

Evening gang! Guess what I went and got today...An optical mouse! Now I have everything but my printers and scanner. I even have a new mousepad with pretty butterlfies on it Although I was looking at keyboards today too...Maybe when I make a little $$ off eBay
