LOL, yes it would have. I think it's just geckos that regrow their tail after it's been pulled off, not human toes!
Netta, cye.

Mouse and Pharlap, I bet he is a smart cookie and he has a hidden stash of cash buried in his garden. The trick will be to find which garden. LOL

Don't forget that train set, I bet it is really worth a mint and he knows.

Oh, does he have it listed already?

Gosh, I remember my brother's train set when we were kids. It was huge! Mom made him keep it ouside, but he had a special table for it. I used to love to run the trains, but I must have crashed them a lot because he didn't let me do it often.

Wow I just went and had a look as well and I think the train set is fantastic. The bayonet looks like it could get a few bids as well. Happy sales to you Bob.

Well good people I am off to bed, so I will say goodnight to you all. Have a good day tomorrow and I will see you all later.

I wasn't allowed to touch my brother's train set It was bloody huge! They had it set up in the garage with little bridges, plaster of paris houses, trees and all sorts of neat bits and pieces. Not sure whatever happened to all of it...

Nighters Netta!

I know my brther kept his in a wooden box for years, intending one day to give it to his son. His son is 16 now and I don't believe I've seen it in like forever, so I don't know what happened to it...

Night Nattak

Well then, there must be a black hole somewhere with everyone's childhood train sets!!! LOL!

The only thing they still have is this Mecanno (sp??) steam engine. I remember this thing well... it caused one of my socks to catch on fire (while my foot was still in it! )

LOL! I bet that put a scare into you! I didn't play with my brother's much because I'm 8 years his junior, so I was a little young for that stuff when he was into it.

I really do wonder what happened to Bob. It's not storming down where he is is it?

Anybody still here?
I had to dash off in a hurry. I had a phone call from my golfing mate.
He decided to use the holiday to catch up with some work at his factory.
Being a public holiday today it was desrted where his factory is.
When he knocked off he came out to find that Midnight Spares had been busy and stripped his car. What's left of it isn't going anywhere!
There's some mongrels in this world.
Bob, Downunder but never down.

I'm not too sure what the weather is like down his end of the country... We've had a little rain tonight but nothing too bad.

I think I'll have to call it a night as well. I've already been thrown off once just then so now it's only a matter of time before things start playing up...

You behave yourself when Bob comes back now ok?

Talk to you tomorrow!!!

hi mouse, He's ropeable right now. Being in the factory with machinery going, he wouldn't have heard a thing.
With it being Easter weekend he's got no chance of fixing it until next week.
The police have been round but I don't think that they've got much hope about catching the culprits.
Bob, Downunder but never down.

mouse, That was a cool garage sale. Looks like I'm going to be busy listing again!!
I see you girls have been having a look at some of my auctions this week. Going by the hits so far and a bit of early bidding on a couple of things I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good week.

Drat I missed all the fun. Garage sales are my favorite thing...haven't bought a garage in a long time. Love your 1800's dome top trunk Mouse does it have a half tray set inside and a inner cover to the dome for storage?? We have had that type and replaced the leather handles with new (old looking) leather and explained that they had been replaced so the thing could be moved. Around here the apartment dwellers want flat top trunks to serve as storage and a table..most of those do not have the character of a dome top. Your's is especially nice with the metal work. Bob wonderful news being able to get a good nights sleep for a change...how many miles away did those little beggars get to travel?
500 kilometers? Netta dear my favorite meat is lamb...we a New Zealand roast lamb last week. Hubby likes his with rosemary roast potatoes, a veggie and mint jelly. I use a garlic, ginger and pepper rub
slow roast it til it is medium rare...mmmm I
haven't had breakfast yet and I'd rather have lamb than eggs and bacon. Pharlap
you are sooo brave throwing yourself on Bob's
bonnet...hope your foot heals fast!! Smooches I have to go eat. Imagine my surprise when I discovered sooooo many new pages.

Hello is anyone at home??? I will just push us up to the top again, we were sinking down the page.

Well what happened after I left last night.

Bob what a pain in the you know what for you mate. I am ashamed to say that we live in a world of thieving little shits these days. It seems that you can not leave anything alone for more than a few minutes or someone has taken off with it.

I hope your mate has good insurance and I hope his car was locked up, or he may have some problems dealing with the insurance company. I wish him good luck.

Pharlap how is your foot honey? Did the mean nasty man say sorry to you yet. LOL

Mouse where are you, and what are you doing??? I kept thinking about you beautiful chest, it is simply stunning, hang on to it. I agree with Zilvy I believe that you can have the handles replaced and you know that most people will not even know that they are not original.

Hello to you Zilvy, I see you have been busy hopping around the board today. I usually cook my lamb roast with just a bit of mixed seasoning rubbed into it. I always bake the veggies on a tray on the rack above the roast. We love to have sweet potato, and baked potato and carrots with our roast along with baby peas. Yum.

Tonights meal is Roast Leg of Pork with apple sauce, I will have to put it on very soon or they will not be eating it tonight after all. LOL

I went shopping today and got a beautiful port-a-cot, it is funny, because I was not really planning to buy one today, but I went in to see another ebayer at his shop and low and behold he had just what I needed and wanted. I told him that I wanted it and he almost halved to price for me, so guess what I got at the shops today. hahaha

I think I have just about everything that I will need for my babysitting jobs, when the little tyke arrives. I now have nappies (diapers), cot, bunny rugs, sheets, clothes and some special toys. LOL

Zilvy has you niece had her baby yet? My sister has not had hers yet, but she is not too far off having it.

Dinner sounds lovely Netta, can I come live with you??

Pharlap, your easter box went out today! I almost fainted when he weighed it, almost 11 pounds!

You can come and live here and then you could see Pharlap and me all the time. LOL Maybe Bob could come up for a visit, we could put the old tent out and even build a campfire for him. LOL

Well Mouse I have a spare room as well and I figure that after all the years that I have put up with his mates staying over, it is now their mothers' turn to have him stay at their houses. LOL

I am just stepping out for a little while, have to run down the road I will let you know when I am back. Hope you are still around.
