Incoming mail Mouse.

Is anyone else coming in tonight I wonder. It is very silent out there in the hall, I am almost afraid to go outside.

I think that is a lovely idea to buy take away and take it and have Easter lunch with you father. That should cheer him up a bit. Do you get to see much of him, while he is in the nursing home?

Peeps' they really scare me.

Did you see that they very nearly murdered Zazzie in her closet. LOL

Barry (the magnificent) Barris had to ride in on his big white steed and rescue her. LOL He triumphed over those nasty Peeps. hahaha

LOL, no I must have missed all of the drama!

Actually no, I'm embarrassed to say I haven't been up there yet It takes a lot for me to get out of the house and the days I have to go out, by the time I get home I'm wiped out! I wanted to go today, but I was so tired when I got home, I just couldn't get the energy up to do it.

I still have to take all of the measurements for the clothing to sell as well as write up descriptions. All I've done so far is the pictures. That's my goal tomorrow. Besides, I need to prepackage some of it to get it out of the way (as you could see in the picture!) I usually wait until after the auction to do that, in case someone has an oddball question I need to look at the garment for. But most of it is pretty basic, I think I'll be safe.

You know I am really cheesed off.

I emailed two seller days ago about shipping costs ect., they did not have the details in the auction TOS. Anyway they emailed me back, but both of them did not have the information that I requested and I asked again for this information. Well I still have not received it and one of them only has 2 hours to go and the other has a day, but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for them to reply at this late stage in the game. Now I really wanted these items but I will not bid, without the correct shipping amount. If I were to bid they could then charge me anything, and I would have no comeback on them, because it would be my own fault for not making sure of the facts beforehand. Some sellers suck!!

Mouse reply on way.

It can certainly take a lot of time to prepare everything to put up for auction, I simply did not realise until I started to list my own things. When I first got the camera, I though it would be a piece of cake to photo them all. But let me tell you, I had to retake just about everything a number of times before I could put it up an you could actually see what it was. LOL

You just do not see all the hard work until you are in the drivers seat so to speak. LOL

I agree! I was looking at one seller's auctions and in not one of them did the pictures show up. I checked the properties and it was ftp:xxx So I wrote to them saying, hey you're pictures aren't showing, I think the url is wrong. They write back saying someone else said something about it, but it loaded fine for them. Well duh, just because it loads for you doesn't mean it does for everyone else! They were nice enough to send a pic of the one item, sheesh. I replied to your reply, LOL.

I had one of my sellers that I emailed, send a reply and it had a guess at the shipping, but I know for a fact it was way too high and I asked for a proper costing, and he did not even reply, well he does not have any bids on his auction and I would have bid if he had of given me the cost and the correct cost at that. I do not mind a bit of padding on top for the packing cost but not an extra $20, that is just too much for me.

I wonder if our lovely Bob got a better offer tonight. Good luck to him if he did. LOL

nettak, I know how frustrated you are with sellers who won't quote reasonable shipping.
I wanted to bid on a painting this week in the US.
I have an identical sized painting by the same artist here at home.
I weighed mine, including the neccessary packing it would need for safe shipment, and calculated from the USPS website that it would cost $75.50 to ship from the US to Melbourne.
The seller wanted $400.00 to ship! That's right, four hundred dollars!
I told him to shove it where the sun don't shine.

Holy heck that seller didn't want much did he? Did you ask him if he wanted it in cash or coin. LOL

It is hard to beleive that some of these seller can actually make any sales when they overcharge like that, I wonder if they ever get anyone to agree to that sort of cost.

Maybe he just did not want to send it to Australia, but he should have said so straight away.

Knowing me if I sent golf balls, they'd be Disney ones with cartoon characters on them!

I was so out of it when I shut down and went to bed, I totally forgot we were chatting. Of course Bob disappearing for a bit to make a sandwich didn't help. I didn't even realize what I'd done until I got up today, then I was so embarrassed! You guys know I always say goodnight before I leave!

nettak, You'd crack up if you could see me and mate on the golf course at times.
When he hits the ball he often hasn't got a clue where it's gone.
I usually see it but by the time we get up the fairway I've usually forgotten where it landed!
It gets to be a bit like the movie Grumpy Old Men!.

Well you may have had a better offer that distracted you somewhat. LOL

So you had a not so good day at golf hey, not to worry better days ahead I am sure.

How is your mate, Bob, is his car insured? I hope so. Those lowlife theiving scumbags deserve to be locked up.

I hate that, when someone works hard and then someone else comes in and helps themselves. We have had people pinch things off us and it hurts.
