Oh well, maybe there was ONE time that I can't remember. Everyone else gone to bed in my household, just me, the computer and the T.V. blaring in the background.
Have you been following the build up to the new T.V. Show "Big Brother" On tomorrow at 7.00 p.m.

Mouse I have just replied, I hope I got them right, I at least know that rocker's is correct, but am not 100% sure on the other. That was just from the memory bank and it can be a bit frazzled at times. LOL

Mouse It's the first time that Aussies are doing it. They're filming it at the Gold Coast. I never got to see the other shows from overseas.

Is Big Brother another one of those 'reality' TV shows? I hope not - can't stomach those!!!

Isn't Big Brother about a whole heap of people living in the same house and being watched all the time, they are trying to win huge amounts of money.

I am with you Pharlap I hate those shows. They just are so false, and it is stupid the things some people will do to win. You have to feel sorry for them really.

Yes, Big Brother is about a heap of people from all walks of life, living under the same roof with cameras in every room - even the shower!!! They have a backyard but no clothesline (in case they try to hide behind clothes) and try and talk privately. They are all hooked up to microphones too. They are not allowed to write notes to each other, and they have to grow their own vegies, make their own bread and are each given $3.50 a day, they have to pitch in their money at the end of the week and buy groceries. The show goes for an hour and half tomorrow night - the viewers get to vote one person off the show each week.

I'll try anything once. If I don't like it, I'll know not to watch it the following week.
I love Survivor, but not the Mole - can't stand the host.
Pharlap You lucky thing, actually coming down there in a couple of weeks to stay at Sea World Nara Resort, love their food there - the best Seafood Smorgasboard I have ever seen.

Okay I have to say that I hate survivor, but only because I know that they are not out in the Outback, and they living conditions that they talk about is a crock of s...t. I did not mind the Australian version of the mole, well the first one anyway, but the second version I have not even watched because it seemed really false. I do not think I will be watching this new show either, it would seem to be very degrading to the people involved.

Nettak - I won't say anything... except that one can't help where they're born

Kaz - If you like seafood you should try Ashmore Steak & Seafood when you come down. I've never been there myself but I've never heard a bad word said about the place...

Is being born in W.A. worse than Victoria?
Yep, I'm an old Sand Groper - only till I was three though. Went back when I was 18 for a few years, missed good ol' QLD too much to stay any longer.
Netta Just got an urgent message from Ashley from his bed - He wants J. to ring him tonight and also wants me to tell you that he is coming over to your place tomorrow night.

Nettak - of course!!!! Do you think I'm mad??? Honestly - I've spent the majority of my life on the Gold Coast - the only memories I have of 'that other place' was darkness, cold (I feel the cold very easily), rain and old buildings.

And I'm not saying this to poke fun at anyone who posts on this board but they are honestly my only memories of the place. My childhood memories of the Gold Coast are all beaches, sunshine, swimming pools, sunny days in the park etc... a complete contrast

Edited to add that the 'do you think I'm mad' comment was referring to the maroons and not the deposit thing

Does the last part of the message mean that I have got all three of them tomorrow night, they will make my hair turn even grayer than it already is.

Good girl, you are a Queenslander. If you barrack for the right team, everything is okay.

My daughter does not like me to watch State of Origin, because I tend to jump out of the chair everytime we get a try. LOL It is the only football that I ever watch, so how is that for home pride.

Sorry Pharlap, I forgot about your credit card. But at least you are making a start. Do it now while you are young, we owned our first home by the time I was 29years old, and I was always greatful that we put everything into the house payments, rather than going out all the time.
