I guess I prefer Noosa to Gold Coast because it is not so commercialised (yet) Actually, my hubby has been offered a position back up there in the near future, and I think we'll take it. We only lived 5 mins walk to the beach, I love and miss the sound of the sea at night and the cool sea breezes in the afternoons. My, I'll have sweet dreams tonight now....

Nettak - it's funny you should say that because State of Origin is the only football I watch all year as well! I love it - I jump around and scream a lot at the tv too.
Will have to go one year - but would probably see more at home on the telly

Kaz - that's exactly why I love Noosa... it reminds me a bit of the Gold Coast before it became touristy and tacky

I love State of Origin too but I do watch the Broncos every week on the telly and occassionally we get to go and watch the game at QE11 stadium. I wear all the Bronco colours and embarrass dear hubby every time.

Don't have to be a redhead to be fiery - my star sign sums it up - Scorpion.

Guys - If I vanish in about 10 minutes time it's because I've gone to watch 'Drop the Dead Donkey' - have missed the entire series so far and am determined to watch tonight...
I will be back afterwards though to see if anyone is still about...

Pharlap do you like to dance on tabletops??? We could go to the State of Origin and then on to a Manpower show. LOL That would be too funny. hahaha
I went to a Manpower show a few years ago with a young friend and she nearly died when I stood on the table, all I wanted was a better view. Oh yes and I promise I was not drunk, I had not even had a drink that night.

Ads are on, just popping in to catch up.
Netta, I went to one of those sorts of shows, can't remember if it was Manpower but I'll never go again!!!! or if I did, I wouldn't sit in the front row. I was dragged up on stage by a couple of them and had to do all sorts of weird things with an imitation (use your imagination). I kept trying to escape but oh! them huge muscles kept me up there and I was so embarrassed.
That was one time that I wish I had been drunk!

Bob LOL
Kazanne I was up on the balcony for most of the time, all the old dears were down the front and believe me they did not mind getting up on stage with these guys. In fact they damn near stormed the stage, and we are talking about senior cits., like 70 not out. haha
These guys really knew their stuff, and they didn't just keep it too the stage they ran up and down our tables and had a sort of swing thingo that took them up to us in the balcony. *Oh my!!* The memories are just too much. *sigh*
