Speaking of tickets and buff bodies - I will be going to see Henry Rollins next Wednesday night with a couple of friends. Went to one of his shows a couple of years back and it was excellent!

One part of the act is to pick out a girl not unlike myself and there he is stark naked with a big black cape around him, comes up to you and wraps you in it as well!
I mean, what the hell are you supposed to do in all that darkness? OMG the memories are horrible, the poor, naive girl like I am.

Oh my, stark naked?! Our don't even do that! But I do have fond memories of one night me and my friends went to one...

Are you stuttering Mouse LOL Actually ours don't go done to the bare everything either, it just seems that way, the Manpower guys always leave a little something on, not much mind you, but just a little wisp of something. *sigh*
Now the strippers who do private shows are a different story all together, we had one at a party just a couple of months ago, that certainly went right down to bare everything, and he had no worries about letting us all see what he had. I think I prefer the Manpower guy, just a little wisp is fine with me. LOL

Goodnight Pharlap, and yes I was tied up with something else. Then my stupid cat started to chase something in the lounge, god I hope it hasn't caught a mouse and bought it into the house, he has done that before. He lets them go and then wants to play with the thing, but god only knows where it may end up.

I might call it a night too Netta. I don't have to get up early but my eyes are nearly hanging out of my head at the moment. I'll talk to you sometime tomorrow. I guess you will have the 3 of them tomorrow night, the freckly one seems to be J's shadow. Yuk! what a horrible thought.

Sorry guys, I went to have a look at something and I sat in the lounge chair and very nearly fell asleep. Well okay I did doze off for a bit, gosh I must be getting old or something. See you all later.
posted on April 23, 2001 09:07:11 PM newBob is this the norm for this time of year...or are you getting more than you should. We have gone from snow on the ground to 80 degree days in April...unheard of should be high 50s maybe a hot 65 degrees no more. We have windows open and fans turned on, normally we don't get into this until end of June.

LOL Bob move to Queensland. haha
Is this what it looks like??????
Zilvy, rain, rain and more rain is the norm for Victoria, but even they usually have a bit of sunshine thrown in for at least 5 minutes a day, but lately they haven't had a lot of sunshine.

Sounds like you could develop fatal mildew!
Rain is necessary, but in small doses with a lot of sunshine in between.
I was out shopping today...and the pharmacist looked at me as I was
picking up my prescriptions and said....
"Who is this candy for" I told him it
was going to Australia and he asked,
"When are you leaving?" I thought that
was sooo funny...how many stamps do
you think I might need to work that
out?
Have you had a long day today Netta? I hope business is really good for you.

Hi Zilvy, it is 3:05pm and my day started with a phone call early this morning, I dived out of bed thinking it was my sister going into labour, but alas it was a client wanting to put an order in. That is the biggest drawback of having your office at home.
I have been out shopping for a little while today, looking for a small book to send in your parcel. I knew exactly which one I wanted to get for you, but do you think I could find it. Anyway I did find some, but they are really not the ones I wanted, so I will send these and keep looking for the other one that is better.
hmmmmmmmmm do you think you may need two or three stamps instead of one to post thy self. ROTF hahahaha
My phones have been fairly steady today, we had a cool night last night and that have bought some of them out of the wood work, they will all wait until it is freezing and then think about their heating.
We have a day off tomorrow, it is Anzac Day, in memory of our fallen soldiers. A big day for Australians, we are taught from little about the importance of Anzac Day and we never forget.

It's still raining. Getting heavier and heavier. It's piss.....isting down!
I thought I'd go dancing nekid in it. I've even got a photo of me doing it.
I'm in there somewhere. Honest!!!
The rain's so heavy you can't see me in it!

Good evening everyone! I forgot to say that it rained really hard here Saturday too. Not very common here this time of year. Our temps dropped like 20 degrees in one day! I even had to wear a sweatshirt that night. Usually I'm in nothing but shorts from April to October...

Okay I am back. Now where is the nekkid Bob, has anyone seen him or is he just a teasin' me.
Mouse I am sure your darlin' would love the topless look. LOL
Well my friends I have to be honest with you and admit that my diet has not started off very well, I have just had some chips for my dinner. They were very nice too, and I am racked with guilt. More fat to get rid of.
Oh well tomorrow is another day, and they say that you can cheat on a few things, but I am sure they did not really mean on the first day. LOL

I have been on that particular diet Bob and it didn't seem to work for me. The trouble seems to be that I see plenty of food that I shouldn't see, and I just eat it anyway.
How are you holding up with all the rain?? You will be playing golf in the lounge room I suppose. Is your wife ready to toss you out on your ear yet??
I would be a mental case if Greg was under foot all day long. Is there such a thing as spouseacide, cause I could just see it now, my defense would have to be, but he was just bugging me sooooooooo much, I had to have some peace and quiet so I choked him. LOL
posted on April 24, 2001 03:20:32 AM newnettak, They say it's going to stop tommorow!
Have you tried the Tassie diet?
Just get lost in the bush for a month and a bit and lose 20Kg.

Ok, I feel better now. I've only been trying to get back online for a half hour now And they even switched me to another network today!
Here's the post I was trying to make when I got dumped offline:LOL, I haven't even been trying lately myself. Too much on my mind, ya know?
I did say Dad is back in the ICU right? Mom & I went to check out a different nursing home this evening for when he's released. We were very pleasantly surprised! They were more than happy to take the time to answer our questions and even paged the respitory tech to answer more questions we had. And, she didn't take a half hour to respond either! We just had a good feeling all around for this one and they are much better equipped to deal with his issues. That made us both feel much better I can tell you!

Ummmmmm I think it took that bloke that was lost 5 weeks, I just might get desperate enough to do that.
The only thing holding me back, is the faster you lose the weight, the faster it comes back on. LOL The other thing that happens when you lose a lot of weight fast, is that all your wrinkles get bigger and deeper looking, and your skin goes all saggy. Geeeeeeez then I would have to have plastic surgery to get rid of the wrinkles, flabby skin, and while I am there I may as well have a complete body do over, hey this isn't such a bad thing, I could maybe take 15 years off my age. The only drawback as far as I can see, is that I hate needles and I am damn sure they are not going to be burning bits off me or cutting me up. I don't handle pain very well.
posted on April 24, 2001 03:36:00 AM newMouse, that is great about the nursing home you and your mum went to check out. I hope it all works out well for you.
Bob I have been trying to find a site, to put in the Anzac Day thread about 2up but I can't find one, do you know of any?? I would like to show the Americans what 2up is, but I am not even sure if I could explain it properly.
My grandfather used to play it all the time, he had his own set, that was presented to him down at the casino. I don't know what ever happened to that set, someone must have taken it after he died.
