Hi Bob I finished my unpaid tax
collection job the other day, and I just
have to take it over to the accountant in
the morning.

How much more do you have to do??

Thanks Sara, maybe I should learn to keep
my mouth shut or at least my fingers off
the keys. But I am only saying what I think,
and what has been reported over here.

I have no doubt of your convictions Netta. But I'm going
to stay in my fantasy land for that one, LOL!
(I need to have a bit of fantasy from somewhere! )

Bob! One of our missing mates has returned!
We've missed you. Are you about done with your unpaid
job??

nettak, I should be finished by tommorow evening with any luck.
I'm playing golf on Friday and Saturday, so if there's anything to finish off, I'll do it on Sunday and get it to the accountant on Monday.
It'll take them 10 minutes to run it through the computor and lodge it.
It's great isn't it? It takes me days to do it and I get nothing for my time. The accountant spends ten minutes on it and charges like a wounded bull!
Think I'm in the wrong job!

Bob, Downunder but never down.

That is okay Mouse, you believe it all you
want. I should not have said anything.
It is just that it gets on my goat when I
hear all the stories.

If it had not been filmed in a region that I know well I would be none the wiser either.
But I am a born and breed Queenslander and I
do know this State very well, it is were I
live and have lived all my life. I have been
to these places that they talk about, I have
taken my children to them, and beleive me
if they were dangerous I would not have let
my kids' withing 50miles of them.
The Queensland Rainforests are amoung some of
the finest and most beautiful in the world.

I am with you Bob, the stupid thing takes
me days to complete and that is after all
the bits and pieces of time I put into it
over the 3 months and yet even though I do
all the work and am usually with the
Accountant for only about 5 minutes it costs
me an arm and a leg. Where is the justice
in that.

Even ends with a 'N' not a 'R'

Mouse we know you just wait with baited
breath for Bob's visits. LOL haha

I can tell you Bob that I would not mind my
accountants weekly pay these days. His has
risen by a very large amount since the GST
came in to play. Mine has gone down.

Someone needs to balance out the scales a bit.

work for!

nettak, I spent a while catching up with it all earlier.
There were times I had tears of laughter running down my face!
At other times I was very engrossed
with some immensely intelligent
posts. Rocker's and Spaz's were some
of the most informative posts I've
seen in a long time.
I have to admit to much ignorance
in this area and quite honestly, I
have learnt much from the discussion.
I only wish certain posters would be
more open minded and consider issues
with impartiality before sounding off.

I have to say that I am really impressed with
Australia Post at present. I sent a payment
away on Monday and it was going to South
Australia, and it arrived today. Well blow
me down, I got such a shock when I got the
email to say the payment had arrived, I
thought that it would not get there until the
end of the week, it usually takes 2 days to
get to Melbourne, but only 2 days to get to
Sth Aust. is WOW. I also sent something to
Tasmania and it arrived today as well, Good
lord they have picked up there act.

it's much later than I wanted to be up. So I must say
goodnight. I have to rest up for another battle today.
Wish me luck!

Yes Bob there is one poster in
particular that is so rude and ignorant
but he just thinks that he know it all.
But I think Rocker and Spaz explained
everything really well, and they should
wear a badge of honour for giving freely
of themselves to explain it all to the rest
of us.

Be careful what you say. If you tell everyone that Australia Post is efficient we won't be able to get away with saying the check's in the mail!

Sleep well and do not stress too much over
things that you can not fix.
