I thought Paypal was the greatest thing going, till I got took by someone. I made a "Buy it now" purchase on Ebay just before Christmas, sent the money through Paypal to the seller, never got the item. I filed a report with Paypal, lot of good that done, they told me to file it with my credit card company and if they didn't get my money then Paypal would try. I thought the whole purpose of Paypal was to make online payments and transaction easier and safer. I guess not, great idea but bad execution. They had to have the information on the account for the seller, why didn't they just get the money back. Oh and they charge a $25 fee for filing a fraud charge and getting your money back.
