Does every one used Western Union Wire Service? Here is the story, Wire transfer money at western union agent locator in ROMANIA do not check receiver valid indentification and also sender information.
Receiver can get those cheated money directly from angent locator at ROMANIA. This is the lousiest banking security. cases happened at ZDnet auctions portal. "They" sell those no reserve price notebook, address registed at zdnet auction was some where else, germany, US, etc. when auctions closed, "he" will email you half price wire to them at ROMANIA country address given. "he" received will seriuosly ship out the goods. Then "MIA".
Some of them are very funny, romanian people can be the best psycho, They can be Seller, also Buyer too, They send another person email(buyer)has purchased goods with him before, and reply email as a (buyer) himself.
anyway, have any one can give some ideal to trace or catched them in jail?
If yours would like to play with them, log on to auctions.zdnet.com and search for notebook. All the cheater worms are there.
Very dirty and urgly web portal there !!!

Same thing happened to me at Dell auctions!

3 Romanians, almost $1000.00 lost on notebooks that I wired to Romania.
You can find and play with these frauds at Dell auctions too!

Stick with USA and people with positive feedback !!

to shepvet,

I got fraud at dellauction.com too.

Where did u file the complain?? What dell tell you to do?

I already complain to Internet Fraud Complaint Center.

email me: [email protected]

we can file complain again together for express investigation.

Another reason is dellauction.com won't file a complain because they will lost the posting money from the seller.

Hey guys!
Do yours know, how western union told me, they will not responsibilities according to those fraud cases, we only can file a report to them. I loss my money is because of their careless about the validative information according to the receiver & sender. what i know is western union agent locator at ROMANIA doesn't check the receiver valid ID. they will pay out those money so easily.
this is the reason why ROMANIAN people can so this fraud easily, and used western union old name Safe and secure to cheat people.

i had make report to FTC but never get reply. FTC will not take part for internation fraud cases? I'm not U.S resident.
Since ROMANIA now incrasingly internet fraud cases, Stop them before other's people will be same as us.

Never use Western Union just because I am afraid of what you described... I am strictly online, (which is prob. more dangerous!).

forget about getting your money back from overseas buyers/sellers.
should never send money overseas to begin with.
i never buy anything overseas from individuals, think of the shipping cost, think of the time it takes to get here, think of the damage it could incur in transit, think of how you cannot return ,think of customs?
