Bidz.com...home of the $1, no reserve auction...is that so? Have you ever wondered why you are never able to win an auction that you have bid on, on Bidz.com? Or how about when you bid on something, and the next screen that flashes states that you have already been outbid? What about their incentives, like their gift certificates? The next time you bid on something on the Bidz.com website, look at the retail price. Try not to bid anything over 10% of the retail price and see if you actually win the auction, or if you are mysteriously outbid by "another user". Take it from me, I have had a lot of dealings with this company in the past, and they are not to be trusted.
Also, do they have a certified gemologist grading the stones they claim are genuine. I purchased 2 items which were "diamond" and after having a proper GGL appraisal, it was revealed that they were moissanite. When it came to their "no hassle return policy", I was told that the stones had been switched. Therefore I was refused my rightful refund. After a drawn out process, they refunded my money, charging me a 20% restocking fee.
I have a lot more information about this company, which I will be happy to share, regarding the practices of Bidz.com.

how much did you pay for your so called diamonds??
de beers family controlled the diamond market and keep the prices at certain level.
we have all been so spoiled to get bargains galore on internet,made possible by investor money,but there is still a limit on how much investor/business willing to subsidize?
i have seen some one dollar auction of kitchen appliances with shipping cost equates the retail price of the item.
