Beware of purchasing from Rocket Wholesale. They ripped me off for $20.00 for their catalog and CD, and now refuse to refund my money.

I have filed a notice with PayPal. Does anyone know how long it takes, before you can get an answer from them?

All I've gotten from them so far is an e-mail stating that since I filed a complaint, that they weren't going to ship the items or issue a refund.

millenniumwolf,
You asked how long it takes to get an answer from PayPal after filing a notice. I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, it is possible that your wait might take sometime. Take a look at some of the posts. There is one that is going on five months and looks like it is still unresolved. They seem very slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww when there is a complaint.

there is no reason not to issue refund because you filed a complaint with paypal.
contact usps fraud investigation and internet fraud prevention centre, local chamber of commerce.
when you file complaints with usps, they send copies to local police ,local police will send copies to the company,no one wants to hear from the police.

I filed a complaint with fraud.com around April 25. I received a snail mail reply from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service dated July 20, asking for additional information; they supplied a Mail Fraud Report PS FORM 8165 which I filled in and mailed back on August 2. Then, on August 17, I received another snail mail letter from the Inspection Service telling me they had transferred my case to the Lehigh Valley Division of the Better Business Bureau, probably because the dollar value was relatively small ($22.60). They asked that I wait at least 45 days and then fill in a questionnaire and return it to them (it basically asked if my problem had been resolved or not - and it had not). I did this and mailed it back yesterday (October 6).
I received a telephone call from the PA BBB asking if my complaint had been resolved. Of course, it had not. They said they would contact the "company" and get back to me. Not yet.
As evident above, it took 3 months for my first notification of receipt of my complaint and, from start to present it is over 5 months without resolution.
So, anyone interested in quick resolution probably needs to look for a different solution - like physically visiting the crook and punching his lights out?
