Initially I signed up with C2it thinking this would be a great way to improve sales and save money----how wrong could I have been. Since August 7, 2002--I have been fighting with the company to get my money back.

C2it --THE COMPANY called me and informed me that they had withdrawn $2000 and sent my money to Australia. I immediately tried to call their customer service(if you can get through in 4 hours you are lucky). They said that I had performed this action.

I went to my bank NBC Bank (great bank). I filed a fraud petition and they faxed it to C2it bank that day. NBC floated my account, yet had billed me $58.00 in overdraft fees.

After over 3 months of calling---C2it--THE COMPANY has sent me two letter stating that they have refunded my money and all fees incurred. However the company still refuses to refund (pay or get in touch with NBC Bank) my overdraft charges caused by their actions. NBC Bank has faxed their company numerous times my bank account statementas proof of the charges.

After over 40 hours on the phone and extremely rude supervisors I was given the answer. "We can't do that--It was your fault to begin with." I am out $58.00 and months of trama in the process.

Don't be fooled by this company---as they say "we are not responsible for anything that happens to YOUR Account." Therefore you are NOT covered in any case of fraud. Great to know this now.

I hope I can help someone else from falling into my ongoing problem with this pitiful excuse for a company.

It sounds like some one got a hold of your password or other material to do the transfer. This is the first that I have heard of any of this type of stuff reguarding C2it, I have heard of it with PayPal

In order to do the transfer you would need:

my password
my bank account number
ability to transfer funds

I change my password weekly
My bank account number was new
I have never transferred funds out of my checking account through C2it--I have only received 3 very small payments to the account

If the company was reputable after investigating the problem, receiving my faxed fraud statement, and my banks statements. They would refund the money and all fees incurred.

However, C2it sent me a letter after over 2 months of fighting to get the inital funds returned that they have paid all fees incurred--when they haven't.

Then when called by my bank and myself they deny owing anything and state "It is your responsiblity" .

Real Honorable Company huh?

First of all, I do not work for C2IT, and I understand that you would be upset, but lets look at this. You stated that they refunded your $ 2000.00, and that you feel that they should refund your $ 58.00 for the overdraft fees. Remember, they called you and told you of the transfer because they thought you did it.

Personally, I have used this payment service, I find it more secure than paypal, although it is hard to use.

As for the information that you have provided, I really can not answer that, but I can not see an employee of a federally regulated company that is ran by one of the largest banks in the country going around and emptying accounts knowing that some Computer Network Engineer can track every movement in a computer system by employees.

There is something else, either some guessed your password (In my current job we force everyone to change passwords every 30 days, and some just add a number to the current one), someone is monitoring the computer you use for this, or some family member has helped themselves and then told you that they did not do it.

Don't get me wrong I am happy for your input and I know you are not an employee of C2it---otherwise you would have accused me of theft by now. Like they did.

I change my password weekly--I am the only resident of my house and I have no family members living.

I just can't see the dots connected unless an employee was involved--maybe not directly but involved.
