Over the last two years I'm trying to bring to Vendio's attention critical situation with inventory not updating to reflect TRUE status on eBay.
I know that missing pictures or green fonts have higher priority but when Vendio shows that I have an item on eBay when, in fact, the item is not listed, all the other problems are meaningless.
I can point to many instances where items show listed in SMIE and it prevents scheduling to launch them again.

Hello Jack,
While we don't get nearly as many of these from eBay as we had in the past, they do still come up every once in a while.
In the history for this item, note the reference on 09/27/2007 23:05:02 for the item manually submitted to eBay. The notes show that the 'Launch Ambiguous' message came back from eBay for it, which means they were unable to confirm the item was submitted or not. In this case we do indicate one on market to prevent double-listing.
Click on the #1 and scroll to the bottom of the page in the history for this item, where you can override the quantity on market for this listing back to how it should be.
Please, let us know of *any* others that you find, as these Launch Ambiguous errors should be nearly impossible to find these days with the API upgrade we did for eBay a while back.

Christopher,
I completely understand your philosophy on uncertain launch situation. I think you opt to be cautious and I don't blame you.
My question regarding inventory synchronization remains the same: Can Vendio robot sweep eBay and update all accounts at night every so often.
Also, when ambiguous auction was a 7-day listing, can Vendio mark it "ended" after 7-day period?
