Hello,

Sorry, but I do not understand the question. Could you please be more specific about what option you are referring to?

Regards,
Nathan

I believe they are speaking about the super sized gallery pictures on e-bay

Hello,

Thank you rpm757! Are we talking about the eBay Gallery Plus option? Here is a link to an eBay page about this option:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/gallery_plus.html

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use this option through Vendio.

Regards,
Nathan

Which leads to the question as why not? This supersized thing allow you to get your items ahead of everyone else when viewing them at e-bay. So we are allways behind the pack when being viewed.

Hello Roger,

According to the eBay notes on this feature:

Note: Please use eBay Picture Hosting to easily host your picture for free. Self-hosted pictures cannot be used with the Gallery Plus feature.

Unfortunately you must be using the eBay Picture Hosting service in order to use the Gallery Plus feature, as you cannot use images hosted outside of the eBay Picture Hosting service with the Gallery Plus feature.

I wasn't however able to find how using this feature changes the 'sort by' properties when searching on eBay, where the order in which your items appear in a category would change based on weather or not you used this feature.
Im probably just missing it, but were you able to find a page where eBay is sorting items in a search based on Gallery Plus being enabled or not, where non gallery plus items were receiving lower placement as a result of not having this feature enabled?

Regards,
Christopher

Since I never like using the ebay search, and who knows what you get when you do, i just go to the list of bids that is ending that day ask for the gallery view and view the entire page by pictures. If it looks good then i look some more. There is where i noticed that the BIG gallery pictures seem to be at the top. Since the thieves at greed bay want people to use that poor excuse for a picture hosting they got to do something to get you there. now with your info it makes sense why you can not do it here.

Hello immages,

Are you referring to the Vendio Gallery? The scrolling marquee that shows one image from each of the active listings? I do see that this seller uses the Vendio Gallery, but it does not appear that this seller uses Vendio to list.

Also, this seller seems to be using normal eBay gallery images. It does look like there is a black border around the gallery images, but that would be done with the seller's image software. I also see that the seller has put two images together as one image. Perhaps that is what you are referring to? That would also be done with the seller's image software prior to uploading the images to an image hosting provider.

Regards,
Nathan
