When trying to upload images today into SMP it said we needed to delete images because we would go over 10,000 images. However, our image plan is the 20,000 plan. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi there,

The image hosting plans are based on the amount of storage used, not the number of images, but you may run into a problem when trying to synch over 10,000 images to SM Pro. In order to work around this limitation, please try starting a synch, then halting it after a time so that you can do the synch in batches.

We run 3 computers with SMP. For example if I am at 9,999 images and I try to upload 300 new images how in the world am I going to stop the sync. I am paying and have paid $49.95 for many months for having the ability to store images and now when I need to use this space there are limitations with SMP....you have to be kidding.

Hi,

You shouldn't have any problem uploading 300 new images to your online account, but if you are using an installation that has to download all the images in your account you would need to do that in batches. There are only problems when synching 10,000 or more images at one time. Are you having trouble uploading 300 images from an SM Pro installation that already has the online images stored? Also, have you tried adjusting the image synch preferences?

Because of ongoing problems with trying to sync with over 10,000 images, I created a new folder in Image Hosting called "A" and tranfered our "A" pictures into them so we could continue to put more images into our "unfiled" folder, which is our main folder. When I tried to run a sync from our computer I received the following error.

Runtime error!
Program C:\Program Files\Vendio6.1/AMPro

This appication has requested the run time to terminate it in an unual way. Please contact the applications support tem for more information.


Please help we have many auctions we need to launch tonight.

Hello,

Runtime errors will require a reinstall of the application to correct. Leave the current install in tact, but backup any needed inventory (the Data folder) or bathes (Batches folder, both in your Vendio directory of the Program Files Folder) prior, then run the installer over the copy you have now.

This should fix any missing or corrupt files and retain your images and inventory/batches, although we do still suggest a manual backup for piece of mind.
