Hello. Can you please tell me why all of a sudden my photos do not have the Click to Enlarge on them and each photo opens up in its own window? Thanks, Mnk.

Is anyone there? First of all, I never had the Album everyone has been talking about. Normally though, my auctions would have the Click to Enlarge below each photo and then the page would show the larger image. Now, there is no Click to Enlarge under my photos and when you do hit the pic, a new window pops up to show the larger pic. My thing is, some ebay newbies may not know they can hit the photo for a larger picture. How can this be corrected? How come I was never even able to see an album? I probably don't need the album, but I would like the Click To Enlarge wording under my pictures. Please advise, Mnk.

Hello,

I took a look at a few of your listings and I was able to see the click-to-enlarge images. Please let us know a specific listing number where you are having this problem, so that we can take a closer look.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan, thanks for getting back to me on this issue. I have been with Vendio for a very long time and this is a first for me. I haven't listed a new auction today yet, but I have a strong feeling it's going to haapen again (no Click To Enlarge under the pics). I will list a new ebay auction soon. The auctions I listed yesterday that do Not have the Click to Enlarge are as follows:

170188666376,170188673963,180210328981,180210333475,170188705028,
170188708862.

Can you please check to see why these do not have the feature and what I can do if anything, to correct it for my future auctions. I also list ebay auctions by copying and pasting your (Vendio) html coding into the ebay Description field. Any help would be appreciated, Mnk.

Mnk,

Just to confirm, are the effected items ones that you listed from Vendio directly by attaching the images from the listing form, or are these ones that you took HTML code from the image hosting page and manually pasted it into your item description?

Christopher

Yes, I have always listed by taking the HTML code from the image hosting page and manually paste it into my item description field. I have done this since day one and have never had a problem until now. Thanks.

Christopher, I just listed another auction and the problem is still there. Please see ebay auction 170188859956. I wonder how come this has just happened? I have a feeling it may have something to do with the album everyone is talking about. However, I have not been able to see any album and my problem probably has something to with that. Do you think I can't see an album because of the way I list auctions (copy and paste)?

A few days ago, I could see the Click to Enlarge and hit a picture in a auction and the page would come up with the larger pic, and I would see the hit the back button to go back to the ebay page. Now, I do not see Click to Enlarge under any of my pictures, but I can hit a pic to only see the larger pic but in a new window.

Out of curiosity though, I would like to see a gallery album from my auctions, but it is not absolutely neccessary.

I really just want to know how to get the Click to Enlarge back to all my pictures, mainly for the ebay newbies who may not know they can see a larger pic. Or am I going to have to tell people in my auctions they can hit the smaller picture to see a larger pic?

Thanks for any help and/or advise, Mnk.

Hey again. One more thing. I can see the Click to Enlarge photos on the Attach Images page but once I copy and paste the HTML code and put it in the ebay description field and launch an auction, it is not there. Just thought I'd tell you that. Thanks, Mnk.

Hello,

We should note that this does appear to be an issue limited to the old image hosting page where you generate the HTML code automatically for your listings.

If you opt to add the images to your existing ads directly, it's a non issue. If you simply attach your images as you create your listings on the Sales Manager page its also a non issue.

The only workarounds for now would be either listing directly from the Sales Manager, or if you feel comfortable doing so - click to get the page source on the preview page that shows the links, then find that bit of code on the page and copy it instead to get the links to appear properly. (just be sure to preview before you list to be sure you got the right parts.)

Regards,
Christopher

Thank you! I decided to try what you suggested and use the Sales manager page instead of the old Copy & Paste method, and I'm now back in business. Thank for the tips and I won't bother you again, unless something else messes up, lol. Many thanks, Mnk.
